Before Programming

Using your finger, pen or screwdriver, pull up all the gray Pins around the outer edge of the Timer Dial.

Setting Automatic ON/OFF Positions

Each Pin represents 30 minutes. Press down the Pins that correspond to the time(s) you want your lamp/device to be ON. Make sure to push down ALL of the Pins between your desired ON and OFF times (see illustration). Please note that your Toner can be programmed to as many as 48 ON/OFF times in a 24-hour period depending on what Pins you select.
Setting Time
Grasping the Pin Ring that surrounds the Timer Dial, turn the ring clockwise until the triangular “TIME” Pointer is pointing to the current time of day (see photo).
Turn Timer to On Position
Be sure the Switch on top of the timer is set to the “TIMER ON” position.
Using Your Timer
Once desired ON/OFF time(s) and time of day are set plug your lamp/device into theTimer and plug the Timer into a wall outlet Be sure the wall outlet has power, your lamp/device is turned on and the timer is switched to the “TIMER ON” position. Timer will start to operate, turning the lamp/device ON/OFF as you have programmed it to Manual ON/OFF
Your programmed ON/OFF time(s) can be manually overridden by moving the Switch at the top of the Timer to the “OUTLET ON” position. In this position, your lamp/device will remain ON permanently. To resume your programmed ON/OFF time(s), simply slide the switch back to the “TIMER ON” position.

Notes: In the event of a power failure, reset the current time of day as described in the “Setting lime” section. Orloff times previously set will not change. Do not plug in more than the rated load (see electrical ratings on the back of the Timer or package). For lamps that contain more than one bulb, add up watts of each bulb to make sure you are not exceeding the maximum wattage of the Timer. See ratings below, on the product, or on the back of the package.

PRECAUTIONS:

• For indoor use only. – Do not use with any device which exceeds the capacity of the timer.
• Always ensure that the device plug is fully inserted into a timer
• If the tinier needs cleaning, unplug and wipe with a dry cloth.
• Do not immerse in water or any liquid.
• This timer is equipped with one grounded outlet. Match wide blade of light/decoration plug to wide slot on a timer, fully insert.

FAN HEATERS AND HEATERS WITH EXPOSED ELEMENTS SHOULD NOT BE CONNECTED TO TIMERS.
