1. Shutdown

When the device is turned on, press the device button ? times continuously within ? seconds, the device emits a prompt sound, and the device enters a shutdown state.

2. When can the device be located by other Apple phones?

When the device is disconnected from the owner’s Apple phone for a period of time, the device can start being located by other Apple phones, and the owner can start to obtain the location of the device.

4. How to prevent devices from being used for malicious tracking?

When someone else’s device mixes with your personal belongings and tracks them for a period of time, you will be reminded in the following two ways:

1. If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch or other Apple device, you will receive a reminder on the Apple device; This feature is available on Apple devices on iPad 14.5 and later versions.

2. If you don’t have an Apple device, if someone else’s KVHB_Pro1 leaves their owner and tracks you for a period of time, it will emit music to remind you when it moves. Of course, if your friends happen to be carrying the device, or if many people on the subway you are taking have this device, there is no need to worry. Because as long as the device does not leave the owner’s side, such a reminder will not be triggered.

4. How to protect my privacy?

Where is your device, only you can see it yourself. Your location data and history will never be stored on Apple’s servers. The device that transmits your device’s location data always remains anonymous, and the location data is encrypted and protected at every step of the search. Therefore, Apple is unaware of the location of your device and the identity of the device that helped locate it.

5. How to replace the battery of the device?

  1. Pry open the casing from the hand buckle position on the side of the device.
  2. Remove the old battery and insert the new button battery with the positive pole facing upwards (standard battery, can be purchased at the supermarket).
  3. Once the device casing is installed, it can be connected and used.

6. What is the “search” network? How does it work?

The Apple FindMy network provides a simple and secure way to find compatible personal items on maps using the Find My application on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Find ltems application on Apple Watch. Simply pair your compatible product with Apple Find Myapp to view it together with your Apple device. If your item is lost, you can put it in lost mode to display messages and contact information to anyone who may have found it. The FindMy network is encrypted and anonymous, so no one else, even Apple, can view its location.
