Six bead tracks with colorful beads and a friendly cow encourage little ones to develop hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills. The 3 chunky press buttons introduce a variety of age-appropriate vocabulary, playful songs, silly sounds and music.

WARNING: All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, and tags are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

NOTE: Please keep the user’s manual as it contains important information.

Unlock the packaging locks:

Rotate the packaging locks 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
Pull out the packaging locks.

GETTING STARTED

BATTERY INSTALLATION

Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the ball. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw.
Install 2 new ‘AAA’ (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.)
Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure the battery cover.

BATTERY NOTICE

Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries.
Do not use damaged batteries.
Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

PRODUCT FEATURES

ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH
To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the LOW VOLUME ( ) or the HIGH VOLUME ( ) position. To turn the unit OFF, slide the ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the OFF ( ) position.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech® Lil’ Critters Shake & Wobble Busy Ball™ will automatically power down after approximately 45 seconds without input. If the motion sensor is activated continuously for about 5 minutes, the unit will automatically power down. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button.

ACTIVITIES

Slide the on/off/volume control switch to turn the unit on. You will hear a song, a phrase and a fun sound. The light will flash along with the sounds.
Press the number buttons to learn numbers, colors, and phrases and hear playful music and songs. The light will flash along with the sounds.
Shake the ball to hear fun sounds and short tunes. The light will flash along with the sounds. Please note, if the motion sensor is activated continuously for about 5 minutes, the unit will automatically power down.

Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:

Please turn the unit OFF.
Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
If the product still does not work, replace it with a new set of batteries.

A replacement product or parts assumes the remaining Warranty of the original product or 30 days from the date of replacement, whichever provides longer coverage.
