CHANGE THE BATTERY

This calculator uses 2 sources of power supply:

  1. Solar energy
  2. battery (1 x 1.5V AAA Battery)

DO SOLAR-POWERED CALCULATORS WORK WITH ARTIFICIAL LIGHT?

Solar-powered calculators contain amorphousness crystalline silicon solar cells which require low levels of solar power to operate. Thus, they can be charged by flaslight and other sources of indirect light such as fluorescent bulbs. Common household bulbs and incandescent lamps.

Should the display become unclear, this is an indicator that the battery power is low. You can use solar energy for power or replace the new battery to make the display clear again.

1 To Replace the Battery
Remove old battery, direction (Note: the insert the new battery in the opposite polarity is faced up)

2 Put the cover back and tighten

CAUTION!

Danger of explosion if the batteries are incorrectly replaced. Replace the battery compartment covers again, making sure it is closed firmly.
