EASTWEST Orchestra Opus Edition VST Plugin Opus Software

INSTALL THE EASTWEST INSTALLATION CENTER (IC)

It is available for download here.

SIGN IN

Use the Soundsonline.com email and password you signed up with.

INSTALL THE OPUS SOFTWARE

The Opus Software panel appears at the top of the IC. Click the ‘Download’ button, then install the software.

ACTIVATE THE COMPOSERCLOUD / PRODUCT LICENSE

The ‘New Licenses Available’ panel appears at the top of the IC. Click the ‘Activate’ button, then proceed through the prompts that lead you through the activation process.

LAUNCH OPUS AND BEGIN DOWNLOADING SINGLE INSTRUMENTS

The most powerful virtual instrument software available is now installed! If an ‘Update Available’ prompt appears upon launching Opus, click the ‘Download’ button to install it, then click ‘OK’ when the update is finished installing.

Now you’re ready to begin downloading single instruments in Opus from a vast collection of EastWest products! If you wish to download EastWest libraries in their entirety, use the Installation Center. Continue reading below for more details.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD SINGLE INSTRUMENTS IN THE OPUS SOFTWARE

To begin downloading single instruments, launch the Opus software.

In the BROWSE PAGE, enter the SEARCH MODE, and begin selecting tags in each ATTRIBUTE COLUMNS to narrow down the instruments that appear in the RESULTS COLUMN by the selected criteria.

Click on an instrument to hear an audio preview, then click the INSTRUMENT DOWNLOAD ICON to download the instrument, or simply double-click on it. The PROGRESS INDICATOR in the upper-left corner of Opus tracks the download process.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD ENTIRE LIBRARIES IN THE INSTALLATION CENTER

To begin downloading entire libraries, launch the EastWest Installation Center (IC) software.

Find a product in the ‘New Downloads’ area, and click the LIBRARY DOWNLOAD ICON to begin downloading it.

The download process will now begin, with a blue bar displaying its progress. Click the “X” button to pause the download process, and click “Resume” to continue the download where it was left off.

When a product is finished downloading and is ready to use, the product will re-locate to the ‘Installed Libraries’ area of the Installation Center, and a check-mark will be displayed.
