SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT FOR THE FIRST TIME. Improper use of the device can damage it or injure the user. Make sure that you use the device for the purpose for which it was designed; we accept no liability for damage (compensation) due to incorrect use or mishandling.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Any other use (medical, professional, commercial, etc.) is excluded.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep this appliance indoors and in a dry place.
- Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
- Do not store any objects on the scale.
- To avoid risk of injury, do not stand on the edges of the scale.
- To prevent slipping, make sure that your feet and the scale are dry and free of dust before getting on the scale.
- Do not disassemble the scale.
- Avoid strong vibrations or shocks, such as dropping the scale on the floor.
- Always place your scale on a hard, level surface. Avoid carpets and rugs.
- Do not use the scale on a slippery surface or on a wet floor.
- Keep the scale away from heat sources (radiators, etc.) to avoid deformation of plastic parts.
- Do not store the scale in an upright position.
- Use only the type of battery specified in this manual.
- Replace the batteries when they are worn out or leak.
- Remove the batteries if the appliance is not used for a long period of time.
- Do not disassemble the scale as improper handling may result in injury to persons or damage to the scale.

OPERATION
- Remove the battery saver tab from the back of the scale near the battery compartment prior to operation. Insert the 2 AAA batteries.
- Place the scale on hard and flat surface. Clean floor is best.
- Step on the scale, balance your weight evenly and wait until the display reads your weight. Your weight will flash on the readout for 10 seconds.
- If you receive an error indicator wait for the scale to automatically shut down and restart the weighing process.
Caution
- To ensure accuracy, we suggest you take measurement at a fixed time every day (e.g. 7:00am-9:00am)
- Please change a new battery when “LO” appears on the LCD which indicates that the battery is out of power.
- “oL” showed on LCD indicates overload.
Attention
- Please take off shoes before taking measurement to avoid scraping or scratching the glass platform.
- The glass platform may be pretty slippery when wet, thus please make sure both the glass and your feet are dry before using.
- Please use soft tissue with alcohol or glass cleaner to clean the surface if it is dirty. No soap or other chemicals. Keep it away from water, heat and extreme coldness.
- The scale is high precision measuring device. Never jump or stomp on the scale or disassemble it. Be careful not to drop or jar the scale.
- The scale is for family use only and not suitable for professionals.
- Please check the battery if the scale malfunctions. Replace the battery when necessary. For other problems, please contact the local dealer or our company directly by phone or e-mail.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Do not immerse the appliance into the water.
- Do not use any detergents or abrasive objects to clean the scale as this will damage the surface
- Clean the surface of the scale with a soft damp cloth.
- If you do not use the scale for a long period, remove the batteries and store it in a dry place, out of direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
Battery usage and recycling advices:
- Keep the batteries out of the reach of children
Do not mix old batteries with new ones, with different compositions or different brands to avoid possible leakage or explosion.
Do not heat or deform the batteries or expose them to fire. - Do not dispose the batteries with your household garbage.
- Please check with your local authority for battery recycling advice. In order to protect the environment, and dispose of batteries in accordance with applicable regulations. Do not dispose of the batteries in your household waste. Drop them off in the nearest battery container or take them back to your store
Disposal of batteries and accumulators (Applicable in the European Union countries and in the other European countries having systems of selective collection)
This symbol, affixed on batteries and accumulators or on packaging, indicates that batteries and accumulators supplied with this product must not be treated as simple household waste. By assuring you that these batteries and accumulators are discarded in a appropriate way, you participate actively in the prevention of the negative consequences which their ill-treatment could cause on the environment and on the human health. The recycling of materials contributes besides to the conservation of natural resources. For the products, which, for safety reasons, of performance or integrity of data require a permanent connection in a battery or in an accumulator, it will be advisable to move closer you to check with technical service qualified to make its replacement.
By bringing back your electric device at the end of life to an appropriate point of collection you make sure that the battery or the incorporated accumulator will be correctly treated. human health and the environment. The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is
marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collection.
