Safety Instructions

Please, take time to read well the instruction sheet before the first use and keep them for a future use.
A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed. We refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

  1. Please check the voltage of the unit corresponds to the voltage of your installation before connecting the appliance.
  2. Never immerse the appliance. Never clean the appliance by placing it under the tap. Do not allow water or liquids enter the unit. The appliance contains electronic components. Risk of electric shock!
  3. Do not cover the air inlet or the air outlet when the unit is running.
  4. Do not fill the oil drawer. Fire hazard!
  5. Do not touch the inside of the fryer when the unit is running. Instruction Manual 2 Risk of burns!
  6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).
  7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  8. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  9. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  10. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
  11. Keep the power cord away from the hot surface of the appliance and any other heat sources.
  12. Make sure the appliance is plugged into your power outlet.
  13. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.
  14. Do not place the unit on or near flammable materials such as a tablecloth or curtain.
  15. Do not place the appliance against the wall or other appliances. Keep a distance of at least 10 cm of free space at the back and sides and a clearance of 10 cm above the unit. Never place an object on top of the unit. Instruction Manual 3
  16. Never use the appliance for other purposes than those described in this manual.
  17. Surfaces are liable to get hot during use. Always use thermal gloves.
  18. Turn off the power immediately and unplug the unit if you see black smoke coming out of the unit. Wait smoke emission stop before removing the drawer.
  19. Always place the unit on a level surface or a stable surface.
  20. Make sure to always unplug the appliance after use.
  21. Let cool for about 30 minutes before cleaning.
  22. Always keep the appliance clean as it comes in contact with food.
  23. Regarding the details on how to clean the surfaces come in contact with food or oil, refer to the following paragraph of the leaflet.
  24. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
  25. Appliance must not be immersed.
  26. Cooking appliances should be positioned in a stable situation with the handles (if any) positioned to avoid spillage of the hot liquids.
  27. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments,
    • farm houses,
    • by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments,
    • bed and breakfast type environments.

(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

Warning : Hot surface! – Do not cover the air inlet and the air outlet when the appliance is working.

Control Panel Functions

Power On/Off (button 1 in figure 1) : Press for 3 seconds. The default device temperature will be displayed, and the cooking time will be preset to 15 minutes. Pressing the button a second time starts the cooking process. By pressing the button again for 3 seconds during cooking, the device will stop. The message “OFF” will appear on the screen. The “OFF” indicator disappears 20 seconds later, the fan stops, and the device turns off.

Preset Settings (button 2 in figure 1) : By pressing this button, you can scroll through 6 cooking modes corresponding to the 6 most common types of foods (zone 9 in figure 1). Confirm your selection by pressing the Power On/Off button. Predefined cooking time and temperature will be applied and displayed, but you can still adjust them using buttons 5 and 6. The table below will help you select the optimal quantity, temperature, and cooking time for different foods. Since ingredients vary in origin, size, and shape, these settings may vary.

Please note that figure 1 and zone 9 are references to specific locations or sections on the control panel or device interface.

Defrost (button 3 in figure 1) : The default defrost time and temperature are set to 5 minutes at 90°C. You can adjust this setting by pressing the + or – buttons.
Timer (button 4 in figure 1) : The default preset time is 5 minutes. When the device is in operation, you can press the Timer button and adjust the duration by pressing the + or – buttons. Once the setting is complete, confirm by pressing the Power On/Off button.
Temperature Setting (button 5 in figure 1) : The temperature can be adjusted in 5°C increments. The available temperature range is from 80°C to 200°C. Press the + or – buttons to select the temperature. A long press allows you to scroll through temperatures more quickly, then confirm by pressing the Temperature Setting button (button 5).
Cooking Time Setting (button 6 in figure 1) : The cooking time can be increased or decreased by pressing the + or – buttons, with a time range of 1 to 60 minutes in one-minute increments. Confirm the selected time with the Cooking Time Setting button (button 6).
Operating Indicator (button 10 in figure 1) : The indicator light turns on and moves from left to right as soon as the device starts cooking your food.

Before The First Use

Remove all packaging materials. Thoroughly clean the inside of the drawer and the rack with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a lint-free cloth. Plug in the appliance and allow it to heat up without any ingredients for a few minutes. It may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal for many appliances and does not affect the safety of your device.

Use Of The Device

Instructions:

Plug in your oil-free fryer, remove the tray, and ensure that the rack is properly positioned in the tray.
Add the food with a little oil and then put the tray back in place. Never use the tray without the rack.

Caution : Do not touch the walls of the tray and the appliance during and after use, as they become very hot. Use the handle and oven mitts.

Adjust the oil-free fryer according to the chosen ingredients.

Halfway through cooking, stir the food in the tray to ensure even frying.

Once cooking is complete, remove the tray. Empty it carefully as the food and rack will be hot. Steam may also escape depending on the type of food in the oil-free fryer.

Unplug the appliance and wait at least 30 minutes before cleaning it.

Tips:

Always preheat your appliance before use to facilitate cooking.
Cooking times may vary depending on the size of your ingredients.
Add a little oil to fresh potatoes for a crispier result.
The optimal quantity for preparing crispy fries is 500 grams.
Avoid cooking very fatty foods, such as sausages, in the appliance.
Place a baking dish or pan in the basket of the hot air oil-free fryer if you want to bake a small cake or fry
delicate or stuffed foods.
You can also use the oil-free fryer to reheat food or dishes.

Cleaning And Maintenance

Clean the tray and rack after each use. Avoid using metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning products, as they may damage the non-stick coating.
Unplug the power plug from the wall outlet and let the appliance cool down. Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth and dry it with a dry cloth. Clean the tray and rack with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Use a soft non-metallic brush to clean the heating element and remove any food residue.

Fresh fries are not crispy when they come out of the oil-free fryer.| The crispiness of the fries depends on the amount of oil and water they contain.| Ensure the potato sticks are well- dried before adding the oil.
Cut the potato sticks into smaller pieces for a crispier result.
