GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE. A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

This product should only be used with the accessories and the mains adaptor supplied with the appliance.

The appliance must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance. This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable.

Do not press the buttons too hard as it could damage the product.

Do not use chemicals on the product.

When the unit is not in use, make sure it is correctly turned off and stored in a cool dry place.

Do not use this device in a bathtub, shower, or water- filled reservoir.

If, despite all precautionary measures, the device falls into water, do not reach into the water! Risk of electric shock.

Do not charge the unit in a bathroom as the presence of water nearby presents a danger even if the mini cordless hair straightener is turned off.

Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by children without supervision. Avoid children playing with or touching the mini cordless hair straightener when using it or when it is cooling down.

Do not pull the charging cable

Only use the appliance when the appliance, cable and plug show no sign of damage. Never use a defective appliance.

Never try to repair a defective appliance yourself.

Never operate or charge the appliance if it has been brought from a cold environment into a warmer environment. In such a situation condensation can occur that can damage the appliance. Wait until the appliance has reached room temperature before using it.

• If your skin or eyes come into contact with fluid from a battery cell, flush out the affected areas with water and seek medical assistance.
• Protect batteries from excessive heat.
• Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.
• Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries.
• Batteries must be charged correctly prior to use. The instructions from the manufacturer and the specifications in these instructions for use regarding correct charging must be observed at all times.
• Fully charge the battery prior to initial use.
• In order to achieve as long a battery useful life as possible, fully charge the battery at least twice per year -
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

CLEANING AND CARE
- Switch off the appliance via the ON/OFF button
- Allow the appliance to cool completely. To do this, place the appliance on a heat-resistant substrate
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids in order to clean it.
- Wipe off the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Please do not use sponges that can scratch, scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects, disinfectants or hot cleaning agents, as they can damage the appliance.
- Protect the appliance from dust.
- Clean the smoothing plates with a damp cloth, as needed. Let the smoothing plates dry thoroughly before using the appliance again or putting it away for safe keeping.
- Comply with the manufacturer’s instructions when cleaning the USB charge.
DESCRIPTION
USE
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
- First remove all packaging materials and transport safeguards. Due to danger of suffocation, keep children away from the packaging materials.
- After washing your hair, dry it thoroughly with a towel.
- You obtain the best results with dry hair. If necessary, dry your hair thoroughly with a hair dryer.
- Brush your hair until it falls loosely.
- The appliance must be charged before it is used for the first time.
- The appliance has a safety lock. If you want to open the appliance, firmly press the button for the safety lock.
Please do not use any chemical hair styling products, such as hair spray, before straightening your hair, to avoid burning your hair. On the other hand, use of heat protection products for the hair is recommended.
AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN
- When you turn on the power but no temperature is selected, it will automatically shut down within 15 seconds.
- When using, the appliance will be shut down within 20 minutes by automatic.
Attention: The appliance becomes extremely hot during operation! There is danger of burn injuries if there is direct skin contact.
- Open the appliance by pressing the button for the safety locking mechanism.
- Switch on the appliance via holding the ON/OFF button 2 seconds. The charging indicator light is illuminated.
- The temperature can be set in three increments from 165℃, 185℃ or 205℃ by pressing the buttom for temperature adjustement. The thicker your hair the higher the selected temperature can be. Chemically-treated hair should be straightened at a lower level.
- The temperature indicator light flashes as long as the appliance is heating up. As soon as the flashing goes out, the desired temperature is reached. It takes 57secs to reach 165°C, 1.14min to reach 185°C and 1.30secs to reach 205°C.
- Divide the combed hair into small strands that should not be wider than five centimetres. If necessary separate the hair strands with a bobby pin.
- Place a strand of hair on the hair placement surface between the two straightening plates, close the appliance and move the appliance slowly and uniformly downward to the tips of the hair. In this process always keep the firmly appliance closed. You should never keep the appliance longer than two seconds at any point, so as not to damage your hair. If you want to get a smooth, tight-fitting look, when smoothing the hair strands you must always work close to the head. However if you lift the appliance when straightening you get a lot of volume.
- Repeat the operation as often as needed.
- The charge status indicator informs you of the actual charging status of the appliance Indication occurs at 25%, 75% and 100%. If all three displays are flashing the appliance can no longer be used until it has been recharged.
- Temperature locked function: pressing two buttons at the same time, the temperature is locked; Pressing again together, it is unlocked. If it has no power when the temperature is locked, charging can be unlocked.
- Switch off the appliance via the button and let it cool down before putting it away for safekeeping. To protect the smoothing plates from being opened unintentionally, press the button for the safety locking mechanism again.
- TIP: You can also style waves with the hair straightener! Place the strands of hair in the hair straightener as usual and straighten the hair. Just before reaching the tips of the hair, turn the appliance with the inserted strand of hair, inward or outward (depending on the type of wave desired) to produce a gentle curl in the hair.
Note: The appliance is delivered without plug-in power supply/USB charger. However, to charge the appliance it must be connected to the mains supply via a USB charger. In this regard the following instructions for dealing with electricity apply:
CHARGING
- Ensure that the appliance is switched off.
- Ensure that the appliance is in a stable position.
- Connect the changing cable on the charging connection of the appliance.
- Connect the other end of the charging cable to a USB charger.
- Plug the plug of the USB charging cable into an electrical outlet (Voltage according to type plate)
- Ensure that all cable connections are correctly connected, otherwise the appliance cannot be correctly charged.
- The indicator light on the appliance is flashing shows that the appllance is being charged. As soon as the charging process is ended, the indicator light on longer flashes.
- To prevent damage of the rechargeable battery, the appliance should not be charged longer than 12 hours.
- Depending on use and hair characteristics, you can use the appliance for approx. 25-45 minutes before it must be recharged. The maximum capacity of the rechargeable battery is only achieved after multiple charging processes.
- Only recharge the appliance when the rechargeable batteries are completely empty. Thus the full capacity of the rechargeable batteries remains intact for a longer period of time.
- Attention: Never connect the appliance to the mains supply if a rechargeable battery is not inserted in the appliance!
- Tips: The appliance can also be charged with a different USB charging cable, as long as it meets the technical specifications. If in doubt, contact our technical customer service organisation.
- It is also possible to connect the provided USB charging cable to an USB port of a computer and to charge the appliance in this manner. However, for technical reasons this charging process can take a very long time; consequently we recommend charging with a USB charging device.
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT
**** Disposal of batteries and accumulators (Applicable in the European Union
countries and in the other European countries having systems of selective
collection) This symbol, affixed on batteries and accumulators or on
packaging, indicates that batteries and accumulators supplied with this
product must not be treated as simple household waste. By assuring you that
these batteries and accumulators are discarded in a appropriate way, you
participate actively in the prevention of the negative consequences which
their ill-treatment could cause on the environment and on the human health.
The recycling of materials contributes besides to the conservation of natural
resources. For the products, which, for safety reasons, of performance or
integrity of data require a permanent connection in a battery or in an
accumulator, it will be advisable to move closer you to check with technical
service qualified to make its replacement. By bringing back your electric
device at the end of life to an appropriate point of collection you make sure
that the battery or the incorporated accumulator will be correctly treated.
For all other scenarios and to remove battery or accumulators in complete
safety of your appliance, refer to the user manual. Bring back batteries or
worn accumulators to the point of collection suited for the recycling. For any
further information about the recycling of this product or batteries and
accumulators, you can contact your municipality, your local waste reception
center or the point of sale where you bought this product.
Correct disposal of the unit

separate collection systems countries)
The European Directive 2012/19/EU Hair straightener on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances
must not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream. Old appliances
must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling
of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the
environment. The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is marked on all products
to remind the obligations of separate collection. Consumers should contact
their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct
disposal of their product.
