Product Usage Instructions

Installation

  1. An electrician must install the base plate into your home’s 230V mains electrical circuit.
  2. Attach the device head to the base plate after any renovations or decorating are completed.
  3. Ensure the FP1640W2-R is interconnected only with other alarms in the FireAngel Pro Connected range.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance

  1. If the alarm is incorrectly attached to the baseplate, detach and reattach it following steps 1a and 1b.
  2. If there is an incorrect wireless connection, use the ‘learn-in’ function as described below.
  3. Regularly clean and dust each alarm for optimal performance.
  4. Test your alarm twice to ensure proper functionality.

‘Learn-In’ Function

  1. Using a ballpoint pen, briefly push and release the ‘learn-in’ button on the back of the alarm.
  2. Push and hold the ‘learn-in’ button until the red LED goes out, then flashes to indicate successful unlearning from the network.
  3. If needed, ‘unlearn’ each alarm in the network before refitting.
  4. If the red LED is flashing rapidly, remove the alarm and seek replacement or contact support for further assistance.
