Introduction
SPEED
PIGEON STEAM & DRY STERILIZER is fast and efficient! It completes a full cycle
in just 15 minutes. Sterilization is achieved by surrounding the bottles and
accessories in hot steam which kills harmful bacteria. Uniquely designed, the
air flows directly to each bottle for a drying speed of just 10 mins!
SAFETY
PIGEON STEAM & DRY STERILIZER has been tested in compliance with stringent
safety standards, IEC 60335. Immediately after each cycle, always allow the
sterilizer to cool down for at least 10 minutes before using it again.
The sterilizer will stop automatically with a warning signal in case of no
water or insufficient water and when heating plate runs dry. If this happens,
please run a complete sterilizing cycle with 160ml water to ensure proper
sterilizing is achieved.
IMPORTANT!
Read the instruction manual carefully before you use the appliance.
- Ensure that the appliance is placed on level and horizontal surface, and it is properly connected to an electrical supply.
- Do not attempt to open the sterilizer when in use.
- Do not cover the steam/ air vent when the sterilizer is in use.
- Do not use the sterilizer without water for auto and sterilization mode.
- Do not immerse the sterilizer in water.
- Do not use the sterilizer if it is damaged in any way, Please contact our customer care department for servicing.
- Unplug the sterilizer from outlet when not in use before cleaning or changing accessories.
- The recommended maximum capacity is 6 wide-neck nursing bottles and accessories.
Note
15 minutes sterilization is based on sterilizing 6 Pigeon nursing bottles and
accessories, time including sterilization and drying, using 160ml of water at
room temperature of 25°C at 230V. Result may vary if above conditions are
different.
How To Use The Steam & Dry Sterilizer
Set-up and Use
We encourage you to properly wash the Bottle Tray, Accessory Tray, Measuring
Cup and Lid Cover with liquid cleanser or baby detergent , prior to first use.
Before placing items in the sterilizer, wash all bottles and feeding
accessories with Liquid Cleanser or Baby Detergent and rinse thoroughly with
water before using the sterilizer.
Standby mode: When the appliance is plugged in, all LEDs lights will flash for
0.5 seconds then it enters to standby mode
Recommended Placement Of The Bottles & Bottles Accessories:

Fill the Measuring Cup with water, up to the water level indicator mark (160ml) and pour the 160 ml water directly into the heating plate of the sterilizer.
Warning: It is important that you use the exact amount of water (16Oml), or else the cycle time/performance in drying/effectiveness of killing bacteria may vary.
Note: Do not fill water below the indication markings. -
Place the Bottle Tray into the sterilizer unit.

Place washed bottles upside down on the Bottle Tray.
Do not place more than 6 bottles on the Bottle Tray or overfill the unit with too many products as this reduces the efficiency of the sterilizer and may not sterilize your items properly. -
Place the accessory tray into the sterilizer unit.

Arrange the accessories (nipples, caps etc.) to be sterilized on the accessory tray.

Place the lid cover properly on the sterilizer.

Press the Button to select your desired mode.

Note: Do not fill water below the indication marking
Placed the washed bottles in an upside down direction (Max 6 bottles)
For Automatic Sterilizing & Drying Function
Press the Button one time for Automatic Sterilizing & Drying mode.
The red LED light switches on and the Sterilization cycle runs for
approximately 5 minutes. After Sterilizing, the LED light changes to blue, the
Dry cycle begins automatically and runs for approximately 10 minutes. If the
Button is pressed at any point during the cycle, the appliance will stop and
go into standby mode. Sterilization & Drying process will restart after
pressing the button again.
For Sterilizing Function Only
Press the Button two times for Sterilization Mode Only.
The red LED light switches on and the Sterilization cycle runs for
approximately 5 minutes. After each sterilization cycle is completed, the
appliance will turn off and go into standby mode. If the Button is pressed at
any point during the cycle, the appliance will stop and go into standby mode.
Sterilization process will restart after pressing the button again.
For Drying Function Only
Press the Button three times for Drying Mode only.
The Blue LED light switches on and the Dry cycle runs for approximately 10
minutes. If the Button is pressed at any point of time during the cycle, the
appliance will stops and go into standby mode. Drying process will restart
after pressing the button again.
After each use, use a clean cloth to wipe away any remaining residues from the
base.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean, simply follow the procedures below:
- After using, switch off the power plug and remove it from the power source.
- Remove remaining residues from the equipment and dry clean with a piece of clean cloth.
- DO NOT immerse the Heating Base in water.
- Use a piece of soft clean cloth to gently wipe dry the all the parts and lid cover. It is recommended to clean your sterilizer once in every 3 days.
- The filter can be removed and rinsed clean with water once a week. Make sure the filter is completely dry before inserting it back.
To prevent damage to the appliance, do not use alkaline cleaning agents. When
cleaning, use a soft clean cloth and Liquid Cleanser.
Maintenance:
Mineral residues may deposit on the heating plate after a few sterilization
cycles. To avoid timescale from building up, wipe the surfaces with a soft
clean cloth after each use.
To maintain the quality of the sterilizer, simply clean the sterilizer using
either one of the methods below:
Basic Maintenance
Using Lemon Juice Cleaning

Preparation:
• Fresh lemon
• Clean soft dry cloth
• Cup
Steps: -
Extract 160ml of lemon juice into a cup.

Pour onto the heating plate without boiling. DO NOT start any cycle of the sterilizer.

Leave it on for 30 minutes.
-
Use a soft clean cloth to remove remaining limescale.
-
Rinse with a cup of clean water and use a soft dry clean cloth to wipe dry.

Monthly Maintenance
Preparation:
• Water (80ml) (Ratio 2:1)
• Vinegar (40ml)
• Cup
• Clean soft dry cloth
• Soft Brush
Some discoloration or spots may remain after cleaning with vinegar solution, however these are harmless
Steps: -
Mix 80ml of water and 40ml of vinegar into a cup.

Pour the solution on the heating plate & cover the sterilizer with the lid cover. Do not place other parts (bottle tray & accessories tray) during descaling.

Press the Button twice to Sterilize Function Only to boil for minute 30 Seconds.

Switch OFF the main power & leave the sterilizer to stand for 30 minutes.
CAUTION: Combined mixture Is HOT. -
With a clean soft cloth, wipe off any stains or limescales.

Drain & rinse sterilizer to wash away vinegar solution.
-
Pour 160ml of clean water, switch ON to run a full cycle, (AUTO Mode)
-
Switch OFF the main power, rinse & wipe clean the sterilizer.

**WARNING**
- Keep appliance out of reach from children.
- When in use, the sterilizer contains boiling water and hot steam will escape from the vent in the lid Cover. Never touch or open the lid Cover, or stand over the appliance when in use.
- Do not use sterilizing solutions/sterilizing tablets in the sterilizer.
- Do not fill below 160ml of water before the start of each sterilization cycle.
- To avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
- Do not remove the power plug while sterilizer is ongoing. In case of mistakenly unplugging of the product during sterilizing cycle, you will need to restart the sterilizing cycle completely again to ensure a correct sterilizing quality is achieved.
- Stay Clear of the steam vent when the sterilizer is in use, as HOT steam escapes from the vent.
- Unit surface are “HOT” during sterilization and drying time. Please do not touch.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household & similar application such as:
-Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices & other working environments
-By clients in hotels and other residential type environments
-For hospital - The appliance is not to be used by persons [including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
- Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance especially when it is in use. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

Trouble-shooting Guide
CONDITION POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Appliance will not start.| Unit is unplugged.| Make sure the plug is securely
inserted into the power outlet.
Insufficient water is on heating plate.| Add 160m1 water to the heating plate.
Unit stops during sterilization cycle. “No Water indicator” on.| Insufficient
water added to heating plate.| Make sure to fill up to max line, at least
160m1 water to heating plate.
Limescale on the heating plate.| Mineral rich water used persistently.| Clean
heating plate after each use. Please refer to “Cleaning & Maintenance” Guide.
Too many items in the sterilizer blocking air flow.| Use only 6 bottles and
accessories and make sure bottles are placed over nozzles on bottle tray.
All LED lights flashing continuously.| Insufficient water added to heating
plate.| Let the sterilizer cool down for 10 minutes, add 160m1 of water to
heating plate and run Auto Mode again.
