- Before installation, ensure all power sources are switched off and follow proper electrical safety procedures. Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Installation Steps:
- Ensure all connectors used are rated for 600VAC.
- Remove all start component connections and wires indicated by a yellow X in the system.
- Connect Easy Start Black to compressor common (BK) on the contactor using a fork or ring terminal connector.
- Place Easy Start Orange on the run-capacitor Herm (H) position.
- Remove compressor run (R) from the contactor and splice it to Easy Start Brown.
- Connect Easy Start White to the contactor.
- Additional Information:
- The DFC circled in purple is a defrost board, not a compressor monitoring board. No adjustments are needed for Easy Start settings on this board.

Product Usage Instructions
- Before Easy Start installaƟon!
- All connectors used must be 600VAC rated!
- If present in your system all start component connections and wires need to be removed where you see a yellow X
- Put Easy Start Black with compressor common (BK) on the contactor behind the screwhead using a fork or ring terminal connector.
- Put Easy Start Orange on the run-capacitor Herm (H) posiƟon.
- Remove compressor run (R) from the contactor [see red X] and Splice to Easy Start Brown.
- NOTE: The wire between the contactor and the run-capacitor common remains untouched and unused, and nothing is connected at either end!
- Where you removed the last connecƟon Put Easy Start White on the contactor behind the screwhead using a fork or ring terminal connector.
- See DFC circled in purple this is a defrost board. This is NOT a compressor monitoring board. NO Easy Start seƫngs are adjusted.
