A. Card installation
- Power off your computer and unplug the power cables.
- Remove the chassis cover and locate the PCI Express slot.
- Remove the expansion slot cover of the appropriate slot for your graphics card.
- Insert the card into the slot until it is firmly in place.
- Secure the card into the slot with a screw.
- Replace the chassis cover and connect the monitor cable.
- Reconnect all power cables.
Note
If your graphics card has an auxiliary power connector, connect the
appropriate power plug from the system power supply to the graphics card’s
auxiliary power connector.
B. Connecting display devices
Connect the monitor signal cable to the corresponding port on the graphics card. Refer below for the VGA standard connectors and their corresponding ports.
C. Driver installation
- Visit the ASUS support site at: https://www.asus.com/support/.
- Click on Graphics Cards, then select your product series and product model.
- Click on Driver & Utility, choose the operating system, then download and install the latest driver.

- Refer to the graphics card manual for detailed instructions.
- The graphics card photos in this document are for your reference only, they may not be of the same model as the one you purchased.

Electrical safety
- When adding or removing devices to or from the system, ensure that the power cables for the devices are unplugged before the signal cables are connected. If possible, disconnect all power cables from the existing system before you add a device.
- Make sure that your power supply is set to the correct voltage in your area. If you are not sure about the voltage of the electrical outlet you are using, contact your local power company.
- If the power supply is broken, do not try to fix it by yourself. Contact a qualified service technician or your retailer.
Operation safety
- Before installing devices on your motherboard, carefully read all the manuals that came with the package.
- Before using the product, make sure all cables are correctly connected and the power cables are not damaged. If you detect any damage, contact your dealer immediately.
- To avoid short circuits, keep paper clips, screws, and staples away from connectors, slots, sockets and circuitry.
- Avoid dust, humidity, and extreme temperature. Do not place the product in any area where it may be exposed to moisture.
- Place the product on a stable surface.
- If you encounter technical problems with the product, contact a qualified service technician or your retailer.
