Connecting your gaming mouse
Setting up your gaming mouse as a wired mouse
Connect the bundled USB Type-C™ to Type-A cable to your gaming mouse and a USB
port on your computer
Setting up your gaming mouse as a RF wireless mouse
- Connect the USB dongle to a USB port on your computer.
- Set the connection switch to the RF 2.4G Wireless mode.
Setting up your gaming mouse as a Bluetooth wireless mouse
Set the connection switch to Bluetooth mode.
NOTE: To pair your gaming mouse to a different device, press and hold the Pairing button for 3 seconds until the LEDs on your gaming mouse start to blink blue. Once your gaming mouse has been successfully paired, the LED indicator on your gaming mouse will light up blue for 3 seconds.

Mapping your gaming mouse as a gamepad for Steam
You can setup your gaming mouse as a gamepad for Steam using the gamepad
profile (defaulted to Profile 3).
NOTE: You may customize your gamepad profile or reset it to the default
Profile 3 using ROG Armoury II.
- Connect your gaming mouse to your computer.
- Launch Steam, then go to Settings > Controller > GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS.
- Switch your gaming mouse profile to your gamepad profile (defaulted to Profile 3).
- Check the Xbox Configuration Support and Generic Gamepad Configuration Support options.
- Under Detected Controllers, select ROG CHAKRAM: Generic Gamepad.
- Map the Backward button, Forward button, Scroll wheel click, and Right button on your gaming mouse to the Primary Action, Go back, Tertiary, and Secondary Action commands.
- Map the x-axis and y-axis of the Analogue stick to the Left Stick X and Left Stick Y commands.
- Press Esc on your keyboard, then click SAVE to complete.

- You may customize the DPI settings for DPI 1-4 through Armoury II or the DPI On-The-Scroll tuning function.
Using the DPI On-The-Scroll tuning function
The DPI On-The-Scroll tuning function allows you to customize the DPI of your
gaming mouse without using Armoury II.

Press and hold the DPI button for 3 seconds until the LEDs on your gaming mouse light up.

Scroll the scroll wheel forwards or backward to adjust the DPI. The LED color hue on your scroll wheel will differ depending on the DPI adjustment.
NOTE:- The DPI increments at 100 DPI per scroll forwards and decrements at 100 DPI per scroll backward.
- The DPI ranges from 100 DPI (blue) to 16000 DPI (red).

Press the DPI button once you have finished customizing the DPI value to save the changes made.
Battery Status
The LEDs on your gaming mouse will turn red (breathing) when the battery power
is below 25% in Bluetooth or RF 2.4G mode. You may charge your gaming mouse by
using the bundled USB cable or any Qi wireless charger.
Updating the firmware and customization
- Connect your gaming mouse to your computer using the bundled cable.
- Download and install the Armoury II software from https://www.asus.com/Keyboards-Mice/ROG-Chakram/HelpDesk_Download.
- Follow the software instructions to update your gaming mouse’s firmware.
- Customize your gaming mouse using Armoury II.

Limitation of Liability
Circumstances may arise where because of a default on ASUS’ part or other
liability, you are entitled to recover damages from ASUS. In each such
instance, regardless of the basis on which you are entitled to claim damages
from ASUS, ASUS is liable for no more than damages for bodily injury
(including death) and damage to real property and tangible personal property;
or any other actual and direct damages resulted from omission or failure of
performing legal duties under this Warranty Statement, up to the listed
contract price of each product.
ASUS will only be responsible for or indemnify you for loss, damages or claims
based in contract, tort or infringement under this Warranty Statement.
This limit also applies to ASUS’ suppliers and its reseller. It is the maximum
for which ASUS, its suppliers, and your reseller are collectively responsible.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS ASUS LIABLE FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: (1) THIRD-
PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES; (2) LOSS OF, OR DAMAGE TO, YOUR RECORDS
OR DATA; OR (3) SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL,
OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OR FOR ANY ECONOMIC CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST
PROFITS OR SAVINGS), EVEN IF ASUS, ITS SUPPLIERS OR YOUR RESELLER IS INFORMED
OF THEIR POSSIBILITY.

Lithium-Ion Battery Warning
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace
only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose
of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Warranty Period of the Product
This Warranty applies for the period indicated on the Product page of ASUS
official website at http://www.asus.com/entry.htm > select country of
purchase > click “Service” to support site > click “Accessory Warranty
Information” (“Warranty Period”) from the date the Product was first purchased
by an end-customer
(“Date of Purchase”), please visit the Product purchased country of ASUS
Official Website for the details. If proof of purchase cannot be provided, the
manufacture date as recorded by ASUS will be deemed to be the start of the
Warranty Period.
Statutory Rights
This Warranty is given independently of any statutory rights that may apply in
the country of purchase and does not affect or limit such statutory rights in
any manner whatsoever.
General
ASUS warrants the Product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials
for the Warranty Period. The Warranty does not cover bundled accessories,
which were delivered together with the Product such as: cables, bag, mouse
etc. If the Product fails during normal and proper use within the Warranty
Period, ASUS will repair or replace the defective parts of the Product, or the
Product itself, with new or reconditioned parts or products that are
functionally equivalent or superior to those originally supplied.
This Warranty applies only if the Product was newly manufactured on the Date
of Purchase and not sold as used, refurbished or manufacturing seconds. Please
keep the original purchase invoice and this warranty card for future service
requests. This Warranty does not include failure caused by improper
installation, operation, cleaning or maintenance, accident, damage, misuse,
abuse, non-ASUS modifications to the product, any software programs, normal
wear and tear or any other event, act, default or omission outside
ASUS’ control. For further details, see section 4 of this Warranty Card.
All components that an ASUS Service Center repaired or replaced will be under
warranty for three months or for the remainder of the warranty period,
whichever is applicable. The Repair Center may recover the originally
configured operation system bundled with the Product. ASUS will not restore or
transfer any data or software from the Product’s original storage media. If
the Product is replaced or refund, all user-generated data may be permanently
deleted.
If the Product is under Warranty, You hereby agree to transfer the ownership
of replaced defective parts and such parts shall automatically become the
property of ASUS.
Customer Responsibility
When using the Product
- Read the user manual first and use the Product only according to the user manual.
- Periodically back up your data stored on the Product.

- Ensure that You have fully backed up all the data stored on Your Product and removed any personal, confidential, or proprietary information before any service process is started. You agree that ASUS may delete any data, software, or programs installed on the Product without restoring them. ASUS shall not be held liable for the permanent loss, damage, or misuse of your data.
- Pack the Product in safe and stable packaging and make sure that all accessories are in the package. The original packaging may be useful for this purpose. ASUS shall have no liability for the loss, damage or destruction of accessories or removable storage devices unless they are caused by willful of gross negligent acts by ASUS.
Warranty Service
When you have the defective Product, you have to take this ASUS Warranty card
or proof of purchase to the place where you bought the product to swap a new
product.
Exclusions from this Limited Warranty Service
ASUS does not warrant the uninterrupted or error-free operation of this
Product, The Warranty only covers technical hardware issues during the
Warranty Period and in normal use conditions. It applies to firmware issues
but not to any other software issues or customer-induced damages or
circumstances such as but not limited to:

Damage caused to this Product(s) by you or any non-authorized third party;

The serial number of the Product, components or accessories has been altered, canceled or removed; Obsolescence;
Damage (accidental or otherwise) to the Product that does not impact the Product’s operation and functions, such as without limitation to rust, change in color, texture or finish, wear and tear, and gradual deterioration; -
Damage to the Product caused by improper installation, improper connection or malfunction of a peripheral device such as a printer, optical drive, network card, or USB device, etc.
Limitation of Liability
Except as provided in this Warranty and to the maximum extent permitted by
law, ASUS is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential
damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other
legal theory, including but not limited to loss of use; loss of revenue; loss
of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of profits on contracts);
loss of the use of money; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business; loss
of opportunity; loss of goodwill; loss of reputation; loss of, damage to or
corruption of data; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever
caused including the replacement of equipment and property, any costs of
recovering or reproducing any data stored on or used with the Product. The
foregoing limitation shall not apply to death or personal injury claims, or
any statutory liability for intentional and gross negligent acts and/or
omissions by ASUS. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages; to the extent, such jurisdiction is
governing this Warranty the above limitations do not apply to You.

It is necessary for ASUS to collect, process, and use Your personal data in
order to facilitate the requested service; and for this purpose, Your personal
data may be transferred to, stored, processed or used by ASUS’ affiliated
companies or ASUS’ service providers who may be located in a different country
to you. ASUS committed that all said transfer, storage, process or use of Your
personal data shall be subject to applicable laws on privacy protection and
