• The installation of this product must be done by a qualified professional.
• Use the correct tools for installing this product.
• This product is for use with 12V batteries. Always check the voltage before installing.
• Never install the product in places exposed to dust, humidity and water. Pay attention to install it far from fuel tank, fuel lines, heat sources and other parts of vehicle.
• Be sure to install protection fuse or a circuit braker near to battery. Follow the ampere rating as indicated here in this manual.
• Avoid running wires over or through sharp edges. Use rubber or plastic grommets to protect any wires routed through car’s body.
• Automotive sound systems may produce high sound pressure levels. Avoid continuous exposure to levels over 85dB to prevent permanent hearing loss.

Presentation
TEQ 7.4 is a compact 7-band stereo equalizer for 12V systems.

• Seven equalization bands (50 Hz, 125 Hz, 315 Hz, 750 Hz, 2.2 KHz, 6 KHz and 12 KHz), with adjustable gain from -12 dB to +12 dB.
• 2 RCA STEREO inputs: MAIN and AUX.
• 3 RCA STEREO outputs: FRONT, REAR and SUB.
• Frequency response from 6 Hz to 55 KHz -1 dB, signal-to-noise ratio >100 dB.

Important recommendations
TEQ 7.4 must be fixed in an easily accessible and ventilated location. It is not recommended to install the product on the sides of speakers, as excessive vibrations can damage their internal components. To avoid noise capture, use shielded signal cables and good quality connectors.

Functions & controls

Front panel

1. Volume : Controls the signal level at the output.
2. Fader : Distributes audio between Front and Rear channels.
3. Aux / Main : Switches between Aux or Main signal inputs.
4. Subwoofer VOL. : Adjusts the volume for the Subwoofer output.
5. Subwoofer Frequency: Adjusts the LPF cutoff frequency to 40 Hz ~ 250 Hz.
6. Gain controls: Adjusts the gain of each frequency from -12dB ~ +12dB.

Top commands

1. Power Connector : The recommended wiring gauge is 0.75mm².
   • GND – Power Negative (Connect to the negative pole of the battery).
   • REM – Remote input (Connect the remote output of the head unit). 12VDC – Positive Power Supply (Connect to the positive pole of the 12V battery).
2. Channel L: Left output for the SUB
3. Channel R: Right output for the SUB
4. Channel L: Front left output
5. Channel R: Front right output
6. Channel L: Rear left output
7. Channel R: Rear right output
8. Channel L: Main left channel input (head unit)
