Product Usage Instructions

Setup

1. Unbox the product and check for all included accessories.
2. Plug in the power cord to a suitable power source.
3. Turn on the speaker and mic by following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Usage

To use the speaker and mic:

1. Connect your audio device to the speaker using the appropriate cable.

This product (including any accessories included in the original packaging) as supplied and distributed new by an authorized retailer is warranted by MCG Innovations Inc.. to the original consumer purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship
(“Warranty”) as follows:

Your product will be repaired or replaced, at our option, for the same or similar model of equal value if examination by the service center determines this product is defective. Products received damaged as a result of shipping will require you to file a claim with the carrier.

WARRANTY SERVICE NOT PROVIDED

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, unauthorized modification including software modifications such as the installation of custom firmware. This warranty is voided in the event any unauthorized person opens, alters, or repairs this product. All products being returned to the authorized service center for repair must be suitably packaged.

GETTING STARTED

BEFORE YOUR BEGIN

• CHARGE YOUR SPEAKER
  Before you use your speaker, you must first charge it. Insert the included micro-USB cable into the DC 5V charging port and insert the other end into a a suitable USB power port, such as one on a PC or a wall adapter. The light indicator on your speaker will emit a red light while charging and will stop emitting light once the battery is fully charged.

• POWERING ON YOUR SPEAKER
  Power on your speaker by pressing the ON/OFF button (button 9 in the interface diagram to the right). You will hear a tone to indicate that your speaker has powered on. If you have previously connected your speaker to a Bluetooth device it will reconnect automatically if the device is within range. If this is the first time using your speaker, then it will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

• PAIRING YOUR SPEAKER
  To pair your speaker to a compatible Bluetooth device, first turn on the speaker using the ON/OFF button. A tone will let you know that the device has powered on and that it is in Bluetooth mode. On your compatible device, follow the manufacturer’s instructions to navigate to the Bluetooth pairing menu. Select your new Groove Tunes speaker from the list of available devices and continue the pairing process per the manufacturer’s instructions. Your speaker should now be paired with your device and should automatically reconnect when it is powered on.

• TWS PAIRING
  If you own two Groove Tunes speakers they can be synced together to provide high fidelity true wireless stereo. To do this first power on both speakers and ensure that they are in Bluetooth mode. On either of the two devices press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2-3 seconds (button 7 in the interface diagram to the right). You will hear a tone indicating that the two speakers have successfully paired and they will now operate in sync.

• FM RADIO
  With the speaker powered on use the MODE button to select FM mode from the available options (button 5 on the interface diagram to the right). Press and hold
  the Play/Pause button (button 7) for 2-3 seconds to scan available channels. Once scanning has finished you can cycle through the stations that are available by using the Previous and Next Track buttons (buttons 6 and 8 respectively).

• LIGHT MODE
  By default your speaker will be in LED mode, emitting light which will pulse to the rhythm of the music being played. If you wish to turn the LED lights off press and hold the MODE/LED button for 2-3 seconds (button 5 on the interface diagram to the right).
