Product Usage Instructions
- APP Download and Sign Up
- Download the app from the homepage.
- Sign up by entering your email address, receiving a verification code, setting a password, and agreeing to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
- Login and Add Device
- Login to your account.
- Tap on “Add Device” or the + icon to start the setup process.
- Scan the QR code on the product and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the product’s hotspot network.

Quick Start Guide
APP Download
- Search for “IPC360 Home” on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (not “IPC360”) and install it on your phone.
- Note : In order to use all the features of the product, the App will ask for some relevant authorization from your mobile phone after the installation. For example, the voice intercom function needs the use of the microphone of your phone, and the message pushing system needs background support of your phone, etc. To ensure the normal interaction between the App and the product, please allow the authorization requests.
Sign up
- Tap “No Account? Sign up” on the homepage of the App.
- After entering the “Sign up” page, choose the country where the product will be used.
- Enter an available email address as your account name of the App, and then tap “Obtain” to receive a verification code. You can find the code in your email box then input it in the App.
- Set your account password.
- Put a tick to agree with the “User Agreement” an “Privacy policy”.
- Tap “Sign Up” to complete.
- Login to your account.
Add Device
- Tap “Add Device” or the “+” icon in the upper right corner to start.
- Confirm the region where you are currently and then tap “Next”.
- Scan the QR code label on the product to access to the next page. Make sure the product is powered on and in ready status (Red indicating light is flashing). Put a tick in the box and tap “Next”.
- Tap “Join” to connect to the hotspot network of the product and wait 10-15 seconds. After the App confirms that the network is normal, it will jump to the next page.
- Select a strong Wi-Fi network, enter the correct Wi-Fi password and then tap “OK”.
- Wait for the completion of paring and Select your desired installation place.
- Name the device properly, which will be shown on the list of all your products.
Note: The two-pin screw adapter in the box is designed for easy testing
and pre installation. Please make sure to use the adapter to power on the
product and connect it to your Wi-Fi by following the steps above. After the
pairing is successful, remove the adapter and install the product in the
position where you planned. The product will automatically reconnect to your
Wi-Fi. After the reconnection is successful, please check the strength of Wi-
Fi signal in the app once you play the live video.
To ensure the stability of network transmission., it is recommended that the
installation location of the product should be within the strongest range of
Wi-Fi.
Function
- Microphone: Tap the icon to turn on/off the function. When you are testing the product nearly, please turn off the microphone to avoid reflecting noise.
- Landscape mode : Tap the icon to switch to landscape mode.
- Resolution: The product supports dual streaming resolutions. It is recommended to use SD mode when the rate is below 50KB/s, and the FHD mode when the rate is above 50KB/s to ensure the fluency of the video. (For the specific resolution, please refer to the actual environment of the product)
- Code stream : “IPC360 Home” uses randomly encrypted data based on Amazon AWS cloud to transmit video to ensure the security of surveillance videos.
- Time stamp: The time stamp on the video is generated by the product, generally in accordance with the mobile phone system.
- Share : The owner can share the product to 5 sub-accounts totally in the app and control the permission grant of sharing time validity, SD card video playback, voice intercom, PTZ control, motion alarm, etc.
- Custom group : When there are multiple devices under the account, you can browse up to 4 surveillance videos at the same time in the same screen by setting up a custom group.
- Device setting: Tap the icon to check detailed information or set functions.
Access to the setting page: Device Info.
- Device Name: Rename the device.
- Device Use: Rename the location where the device is installed.
- Device Model: Factory model number.
- UUID: Device ID. Please provide the ID when you ask for technical support.
- Firmware version: The firmware version of the device.
- Internet Connection: The way of connection (wifi or wired).
- WiFi Network: The Wi-Fi ssid that is connected to.
- WiFi Signal Strength: 3 bars means strong signal strength while 1 bar indicates weak strength.
- IP Address: The IP address of the device.
Setting of device alarm
- Smart AI Detection : Precisely identification function of humans, vehicles and pets. (Optional charging functions, you can check more details in the app)
- Alarm Push Notifications : The function Includes “Text notifications” and “Rich notifications”. Text notifications only show a text alarm message, while rich notifications would display the first frame of an alarm video. You need to insert an SD card previously or subscribe the Cloud service to enable the rich notification function. The notification function is still valid when the app is shut down unless you disable the function or log out your account.
- Senitivity : There are 4 levels of alarm sensitivity from 1 (Very Low) to 4 (High). The default setting is 3 (Medium)，You can adjust the setting according to your actual environment. For example, you can try to lower the sensitivity to 1 if there are too many ineffective moving objects around.
- Alarm Time : The time period setting when the alarm function is enabled.
- Alarm Sound: When any effective target triggers the alarm, the voice broadcast sound will be generated to warn the intruder. There are 6 kinds of broadcast voices for your options to fit the actual environment and. The volume can be adjusted from 0-100.
Set the volume of the device.
- Device Connect Sound: Voice broadcast when the device is connected online.
- Video On/Off Sound : Voice broadcast when browsing the live video. The function is off by default.
- Camera Speaker Volume: Adjust the volume of the device speaker by sliding from 1-100.
- Camera Microphone: Turn on/off the microphone of the device. When you are testing the product nearly, please turn off the microphone to avoid reflecting noise.
Setting of language, timezone, lights, etc.
- Status Light: It’s recommended to keep it on in order that you can quickly judge the cause of failure.
- LED Control: More details are described in page 21.
- Background Suppression: Mainly designed for outdoor products to avoid unnecessary triggers.
- Device Language: Broadcast voice languages include English, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Portuguese and Korean. If your phone’s language is other than the languages mentioned, the device broadcasts in English.
- Time Zone: The time zone where the product is located, generally in accordance with your phone. Please DON’T change it if you are using an SD or Cloud service for recording, otherwise you may not be able to view the recorded video because of incorrect time.
- ONVIF: The product works with common ONVIF devices. Please check more details through App-Settings-Advanced-ONVIF.
- Cloud service based on Amazon AWS. Please check OTA firmware upgrade. You will see an upgrade mark when there is a new firmware available. It’s recommended to keep your product in the latest firmware. Make sure your network is good enough when you try to upgrade the firmware. In the process of upgrade, please do not power off the product to avoid causing damage to the product.
- Restart device : The function is only valid when the device is working online.
- Delete device : The function is only valid when the device is working online. When the device is deleted in the app, the product will be reset accordingly. If the device is offline when you try to delete the device in the app, you still need to poke the reset button on the product to reset manually.
Setting of SD card recording. It’s only valid when you insert an SD card into the product previously. It supports 8-256G micro SD cards.
- MicroSD Card Storage: The storage function can be turned on/off remotely.
- Recordings Schedule: Set recording schedules based on “Day”.
- Record Storage Mode: There are 2 kinds of storage modes: continuous storage and event storage. You can switch to any mode according to your demands. The blue parts in the playback interface refer to continues videos and orange parts refer to nVent videos.
- Video Quality: Switch video resolution to SD or FHD mode according to your SD card capacity and demands.
- Formatting: Format the SD card through the app. During the process of formatting, the product remains offline, which generally takes 1-2 minutes. The device will be automatically online when the formatting is finished. Note: If the formatting is unsuccessful due to other reasons, please try to format the SD card on your computer. Once the card is formatted, you will not be able to find back the videos.

LED Light
There are totally 4 modes to control the lights.

Off: The lights are off all the time.

On: The lights are on all the time. By dragging the slider, you can adjust the brightness of the lights from 0% to 100%.

Alarm Mode: When the camera is in night vision mode, any situation that triggers an alarm will turn on the white lights accordingly. Lighting time can be adjusted from 30 to 600 seconds.

Scheduled: You can input the time of “Turn On” and “Turn Off” to set up a schedule.

Trace Trace : When a moving target gets into the picture, the product will follow it accordingly until the target stops or gets out of the picture.

Reset Reset : When the rotation of the cloud platform deviates, you can use this function to reset the cloud platform to the initial state to correct the deviation of the motor operation and calibrate the cloud platform.

Siren Siren : Tap on the icon to trigger alarm sound to warn any intruders.

Reset Device
- Reset state : The red indicator light flashes regularly, usually accompanied by a long toot.
- How to reset :
- If the device is still connected online, you can delete it in the App and the device will be reset automatically.
- If the device is not connected online, poke the reset hole of the device with a needle for 2 seconds.
