Heart Chain Stitch

Come up with the needle at A and pull it up, then go down at B. When you bring needle back up at C, you will create a loop, positioning the needle’s tip over the thread as you pull it through.

Push the needle back down at C to secure the loop, then bring it back up at A. Insert the needle at point B again and pull it up at point D, forming another thread loop and positioning the needle’s tip over the thread as you pull it through.

Push the needle back down at point D to secure the loop.

Repeat to form the chain stitch.
Star Stitch 12mm & 8mm

Come up with the needle at A, go down at B, and come up at C.

Go down at D and come up at E.

Go down at F and come up at G, go down at H.
Optionally, make a cross stitch at (i) to secure the center of the star.
Cretan Stitch 4mm

Come up with the needle at A, go down at B, and come back up at C, ensure the needle comes up over the thread to catch it and form the vertical part of the stitch.

Insert needle at D and come back up at E, again come up over the thread and catch it and form the vertical part of the stitch.

Repeat to continue the pattern.
Herringbone Stitch 3mm

Come up with your needle at A.

Go down at B, come up at C
-
Go down at D.

To start the next stitch, come up at E. Repeat the pattern.
