This guide provides an overview of DFDS’s preliminary (proforma) sailing schedule for the Oslo, Frederikshavn, and Copenhagen route, along with the operational hours of our freight offices and terminals in Norway and Denmark, and detailed booking and check-in deadlines.
This document is divided into three main sections:

1. Part 1: preliminary sailing schedule April-December.
2. Part 2: operational hours for DFDS freight offices and terminals in Norway and Denmark.
3. Part 3: booking deadlines and check-in times information.

Special departures

Please be aware that departures from Frederikshavn to Oslo are cancelled on the following dates: July 26th, 27th, and 28th. However, DFDS will still operate departures from Oslo to Frederikshavn during this period.

Copenhagen

Copenhagen Terminal / Gate:

• Monday: 09:30-15:30
• Tuesday: 09:30-15:30
• Wednesday 09:30-15:30
• Thursday: 09:30-15:30
• Friday: 09:30-15:30
• Saturday: 09:30-15:30
• Sunday/holidays: 09:30-15:30

For days featuring alternative departure times, the terminal gate will close immediately following departure.

Copenhagen Freight Office:
Monday – Sunday 09:00-16:00
During days when there are late departures, the office will remain open until all drivers have completed the check-in process.

Oslo

*Oslo Terminal / Gate / Check-in:**

• Monday: 08:00-15:30

• Tuesday: 08:00-15:30

• Wednesday 08:00-15:30

• Thursday: 08:00-15:30

• Please note that the terminal gate in Oslo is closed between 15:30 – 08:00.
  For days featuring departures at different times, the terminal gate will be closed immediately after the departure.

• Oslo freight office for Customer Service, Bookings & Customs is open:

  • Mon – Fri 08:00 – 16:00
  • Sat – Sun 09:00 – 16:00
  • On days with late departure, freight office will close 15 mins after departure)

Frederikshavn Terminal / Freight Office / Check-in:

1.  The latest check-in time corresponds to freight units having all the necessary customs clearance documents and being prepared to drive onboard the vessel.
2. The deadline for check-in will be 16:00 in both Oslo and Copenhagen on days when there are no scheduled sailings to or from Frederikshavn
3. IMO deadline = entails presenting signed IMO documents. In Frederikshavn, drivers must submit the signed documents at the freight office by 22:30.
