Yes, you can connect it straight to the TV via HDMI. Remember to change the power settings to never turn off, when recording through HDMI, instead of recording to a memory card. Otherwise, it will turn off after idle time exceeds.

I bought this camera, just got it today, and having trouble changing the color. It’s showing black and white. Is there a way to change it to color?****

Its black and white because you have the IR light on push the top button and turn it off and you will have color.

Hello, does this camera support an extra microphone? Is the shotgun microphone included?****

This camera supports an extra microphone, but the microphone is not included in the package, you need to buy it separately.

Could someone post a video in night vision?? Would like to see how well that works want to use for ghost hunting.****

If you plan on using this in complete darkness I HIGHLY recommend getting air light attachment on top of it. Put the regular night vision itself isn’t bad.

How long does the battery last?****

About 2 hours.

Can anyone comment on the effective range of the IR light where you can still make out detail, not just faint fuzzy imagery?****

The IR red does VERY well inside homes that lighting isn’t good outside your lucky to see 20 feet NOT 50. i use mine for my ferret rescue and watching them play outside at night time. 20 feet is about as good as it gets.

Which SD card is suitable for the camcorder? Does it come with the camera?****

how long will the SD card for. it’s says max 128 so much time it that? second as this use enteral battery pack. I’m want use one for class lectures.

Not sure, I returned two of them because they crapped out before I could use them.

Why does camera restart after pressing pause and turning view finder?****

I’m think it’s because the motion detection system is activated. I just bought my camera and it came in the other day. I’m having the same issue. I see the motion detection icon on the screen. But my camera didn’t come with any instructions and nothing was listed in the manual on the motion detection system. I can’t figure out how to turn it off. So my camera keeps doing the same thing.

Can you use an usb cable to a pc for power instead of the battery?****
