Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Tub Placement
Place the Polar Plunge Tub in your desired location.
Step 2: Tub Preparation
Gently flip the tub on its side, and unpack the hardware for the chiller
(if purchased) & drain assembly.
Step 3: Thread Tape Application
Wrap 3 layers of thread tape around the threads on both ends of the short
pipe.
Step 4: Short Pipe Installation
Thread the short piece of pipe into the drain hole from the bottom of the
tub. Ensure it is tight and facing the hole in the frame on the side of the
tub.
Step 5: Long Pipe Installation
Wrap 3 layers of thread tape around the threads on one of the long pipes.
Thread it into the elbow, then attach the valve onto the end of the long pipe.
Step 6: Valve Tightening
Using a pipe wrench or adjustable wrench, tighten the valve and ensure the
handle is facing your desired position. Tighten the garden hose connector onto
the valve if ordered.
Step 7: Optional Chiller Connections
If installing inlet and outlet connections for an optional cold plunge
chiller, remove plugs from holes on the tub’s side. Thread long pipes into the
holes, attach elbows, and tighten with a wrench.
Step 8: Cold Plunge Chiller Cover Installation
Roll out the cover and align it to the edges of the tub. Lock the clasps
using the provided key to secure the cover.
Step 9: Cover Usage
To open the cover, unclasp the straps and roll it up onto the cover
supports. Ensure the drain valve is closed, fill the tub with water, and
enjoy!
The Polar Plunge Tub Installation

To start the installation of the Polar Plunge Tub, place the tub in your desired location.

Once you have the tub in the desired location, gently flip the tub on its side.

You can put down a blanket or towel to protect the side of the tub.

Unpack the hardware for the chiller (If Purchased) & drain assembly.

Wrap 3 layers of thread tape around the threads on both ends of the short pipe.

Thread the short piece of pipe into the drain hole from the bottom of the cold plunge tub.

This can be hand tight only at this time.

Screw the 90° elbow onto the short pipe.

Ensure it is tight and facing the hole in the frame on the side of the tub.

Wrap 3 layers of thread tape around the threads on both ends of one of the long pipes.

Thread the long piece of pipe into the elbow.

This can be hand tight only at this time.

Remove the plastic packaging and caps from the valve.

Screw the valve onto the end of the long pipe.

Using a pipe wrench or adjustable wrench, tighten the valve.

This will also tighten the long adapter into the elbow.

Have the handle of the valve facing in your desired position when tight.

Using a pipe wrench or adjustable wrench, tighten the garden hose connector (if ordered) onto the valve.
Installing inlet and outlet connections for optional cold plunge chiller
- Remove the plugs from the holes in the side of the tub.
- Wrap 3 layers of thread tape around both ends of the threads on the 2 remaining long pipes and thread them into the holes on the side of the tub.
- This only needs to be hand tight at this time.
- Thread an elbow onto each of the long pipes on the side of the tub.
- Tighten completely with a wrench.
- To connect the chiller to the tub, please refer to the instructions included with the chiller purchased.
Cold Plunge Chiller
- To install the roll up cover, secure the cover brackets onto the preferred end of the plunge tub and secure with 2 – 2 ½” (64mm) screws into each bracket.
- Roll out the cover and align it to the edges of the tub.
- Place a locking clasp onto one of the straps and pull it snug.
- Once in desired position, remove the strap and secure the clasp with 2 – 1 ½” (38mm) screws.
- Repeat the above process for the remaining 3 straps.
- Use the provided key to lock and unlock the clasps.
- It is recommended to keep cover locked when not in use to prevent unauthorized access to the plunge tub.
- To open the cover, unclasp the straps and roll up the cover to sit on the cover supports.
- Ensure the drain valve is closed, fill the tub with water and enjoy!

Dundalk LeisureCraft Inc. warrants our Canadian Timber Collection Cold Plunge
Tubs against defects in materials and workmanship under normal/residential use
for a period of one (3) years, as applicable, from the date of receipt of the
product by the original end-user consumer.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear and/or natural weather
conditions. This warranty does not cover misuse or negligence and the
manufacturer and associated retailers are not liable for any injury or damage
caused by the product. This warranty is a parts only warranty and any service
or labor costs would not be considered as part of the 3-year warranty. When
water is at desired temperature, (Hot or Cold), Always Turn off unit and
unplug from the electrical outlet. Enjoy your Soak!
