- You can fully understand the use and operation of this product by reading this manual.
- This hand-held projection equipment is small, portable, and powerful, which is specially designed for household, entertainment, business, and other application environments. It allows you to enjoy the fun of a large screen display anytime and anywhere, and you are welcome to share the fun and ideas of using it with us.
- If you have any questions about this product, welcome to contact our professional after-sales service personnel, and we will provide you with cordial service.
IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Important: To get the best viewing effect, it’s suggested that you use
the product in a dark room.
Warming: Following safety instructions can sustain the product’s lifespan
and prevent it from firing or electric shock, so please read them carefully
and pay attention to all warnings.
- Do not install it in a place with poor ventilation.
- Do not install it in a hot or damp place.
- Do not block its ventilation holes (Intake or Exhaust).
- Do not install it in a dusty or smoky place.
- Do not install it near the temperature/smoke sensor since it might cause the sensor to fail to work.
- Do not install it in a position directly blown by air conditioning. Otherwise, it might be malfunctioned because of the water & vapor condensation or high temperature.
Note: To maintain the performance and reliability of the projector, please leave at least 30cm of space around the projector.
Note: The projector’s light is very bright, so please do not look at it
directly or point its light to your eyes in case of causes visual
damage.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
- Do not install in an unventilated area.
- Do not install in high temperature and humidity.
- Do not settle the bottom in a soft place.
- Stay away from the dust.
PACKING LIST
Note: Please check whether the accessories are complete after opening the
package. If it’s not complete, please contact customer service for a
replacement.
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Projector Stand Installation Method: Align the four holes of the bracket with the bottom of the projector and tighten the screws to fix the bracket to the projector. If you want to adjust the tilt angle of the projector, you can use a screwdriver to adjust the tightness of the screws on the left and right sides.
REMOTE CONTROL
Virtual Mouse Function : Long press the button on the remote to activate the virtual mouse function; if you want to exit virtual mouse mode, long press the button again.
Notice: Due to App copyright issues, Apps like Netflix may require users to use a Mouse to fully navigate.
If you cannot scroll up/down via the remote control within some Apps, it’s recommended to connect a mouse to the projector to fully navigate.
Remote Control Using Cautions
- Be cautious when using the remote control. Do not drop it, trample on it, or spill any liquid into its body.
- Do not put the remote control near any heat source.
- Do not expose the remote control to sunlight.
- Do not put the remote control in a damp place.
INSTALLATION AND DEBUGGING
Projector Installation
- Method 1 : Put it horizontally
- Method 2: Hang it with a mount
Note: When the projector is hung on the ceiling or in a system of rear projection, please change the projection mode accordingly.
Projection Mode
Adjust the projection mode under Menu > MY APPS > Settings > Display >
Projection Settings > Projection Mode per your needs.
Focus Adjustment
When the image is blurred, it’s recommended to manually press the F+/F- focus
button on the remote to improve the clarity of the image. If you cannot obtain
satisfactory clarity through adjustment, please move the projector forward or
backward.
Keystone Correction
When trapezoidal distortion occurs, the user needs to adjust the electronic
keystone correction under the following Settings: Menu > MY APPS > Settings >
Display > Projection Settings > Keystone Correction.
Press the up/down/left/right key button on the remote to adjust the inclination of the projection screen per your needs.
Four Point Scaling
Press the OK button on the remote select the four corners, then press the up/down/left/right button on the remote to adjust the projection screen inclination per your needs.
Projection Size Adjustment
Press the left/right button on the remote to adjust the projection size per your needs.
Turn Off Safely
Press the switch button on the operation panel or remote control, and turn off
the device according to the system prompts.
ANDROID DESK
Overview
Press the Power on the button, it will enter the home page after the boot
screen appears for a few seconds.
App Playing
Once connected to a wireless network, you can access online services, enjoy
movies, music, and pictures, and browse the internet through the installed
apps. Apart from the apps installed, you can also install any other apps
either from the App Store or from Google Play Store.
- Press the “Home” button to access the home menu.
- Select “SETTINGS” – “Network” to complete the network connection.
- Select ”My Apps” – “>” – “Netflix/YouTube/Prime Video” etc to start your APP playing.
Note: Apart from the apps installed, you can also install any other apps either from the App Store or Google Play Store. For the apps that you cannot find in the App Store or Google Play Store, you can download the APK file on the website and install it on a USB flash drive.
- App Manager Select “Menu-Settings-Apps” to manage your installed Apps.
- App Uninstall Select an App in My Apps and long press “≡” on the remote control, then you can select [Uninstall] to remove the App.
Wireless Mirroring Function
Android Device Mirroring
Please make sure your Android mobile/tablet supports Screen-sharing before you
start using wireless projection on this projector.
- Please connect your Android device to the same network as the projector.
- Turn on the projector press the Menu/Home button on the remote control, and select “My APP – >[More] – HappyCast- iPhone” as the input source.
- Enter into phone settings and Activate the Screen-Sharing function on your Android device, click it, and find the device to connect HappyCast-XX.
Note: For different phone brands, the names of “screen-sharing” are different.
IOS Device Mirroring
- Please connect your IOS device to the same network as the projector.
- Turn on the projector press the Menu/Home button on the remote control, and select “My APP – >[More] – HappyCast- iPhone” as the input source.
- Activate the Screen-Mirroring function on your IOS device and search for the projector, click it, nd find the device to connect HappyCast-XX.
Note: if there is no sound when screen mirroring on your Macbook, please
go to the Macbook sound settings and choose “HappyCastXX” as the output
sound.
DLNA – APP Airplay
- Please connect your mobile/tablet device to the same network as the projector.
- Turn on the projector press the Menu/Home button on the remote control, and select “My APP – >[More] – HappyCast- Video” as the input source.
Cast Screen Guide
- Make sure your device and projector are on the same WLAN.
- Choose whatever video you like on apps with cast screen capability.
- Click the TV Button on your device, and select this projector [HappyCast-XX].
Notice: Due to copyright issues, Videos like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney, and Hulu do not support screen mirroring on smartphones directly. You can watch those videos directly with the installed apps of the projector or connect them to your laptop via an HDMI connection.
Macbook Screen Mirroring
- Click the Screen Mirroring icon on the top of your MacBook taskbar.
- Click Mirror or extend to: [HappyCastXX] and choose Mirror Built-in Retina Display.
- Click [HappyCastXX] again to exit Screen Mirroring.
HDMI Connection
HDMI Compatible Devices: Laptop, TV Stick, PS4, XBOX, DVD Player, etc. HDMI
Connection Methods:
- Method ①: Press the “Source” button on the remote control to select HDMI as the input source.
- Method ②: Connect the projector to your laptop or Fire TV stick, or DVD player via HDMI connection, then select “My APP – >[More] -HDMI IN” as the input source.
Sound Settings for HDMI C connections.
- Turn off Dolby Audio on your device (such as TV stick/PS4/PS5).
- If there is no sound with the lu-ray Disc Player, please change the sound model to PCM on your DVD player.
- If there is no sound with the Cable Box, change the sound model to PCM in your Cable Box.
- If there is no sound with a USB stick/TF card, please download the video with Dolby(AC3).
- If there is no sound with the Laptop/Macbook via HDMI connection, please change the lalaptop’sound output to HDMI under Setting – sound -select HDMI as the sound output device.
USB Connection
Connect the USB flash driver to the projector and select “My APP – >[More]
-Explorer” as the input source, then select USB flash driver to select
(videos, pictures, music, and all files) then press OK to play, press the
return key to exit.
Local Player support format is as follows:
- Video Mp4,AVI,mov,mkv,flv,mpg,ts,3gp,VOB
- Audio AAC,amr,FLAC,m4a,mp2,mpga,ogg,Wav
- Picture JPEG, BMP, PNG, JPG
PROJECTOR SETTINGS
Network Settings
- Go to the main Menu of the projector and choose [S ettings].
- Select [Network Settings] and Click [ON] to activate the WiFi function.
- Find your home WiFi network name and input the password, click [NE XT] to connect.
- Then press the return key to exit the WLAN interface.
Note: Firstly, please try to turn on the hotspot of your smartphone and check if the projector can connect to your smartphone hotspot. If not, please reset the projector by Settings > Reset & Upgrade > Reset Data and reconnect to your WiFi again.
Bluetooth Settings
Turn on the projector and press the Menu/Home button on the remote control,
select “Settings – Device – Network Settings”, find “Bluetooth” and press OK
to turn on Bluetooth, choose the device to be paired, and then select the
return key to exit.
Notice: It’s NOT support to connect with smartphones via Bluetooth to realize screen sync.
Projection Settings
- Settings > Projection Mode: Front and Upside down.
- Settings > Keystone Correction: Electric Keystone to adjust four corners.
- Settings > Four Point Scaling: Vertical Correction and Horizontal Correction.
- Settings > Whole Scaling→Zoom in/Out: 100% – 40%.
BASIC PROJECTOR SETTINGS
Time & Date
Settings > Date and Time: Auto internet date and time or set the date and
Timezone, Use 24-hour Format.
Sound Settings
Adjust the volume and press voice according to your needs.
Language
Settings→Language Settings: Press OK to enter the language option to choose a
language.
Device Information
Check the information on the Model, Android System Version, Kernel Version,
Build Number, RAM, and ROM.
Apps
Check all of your apps, and force stop/uninstall/clear cache per your
needs.
Reset & Upgrade
Settings→Factory Reset→Reset Data
Settings > System Update
Online updates or local updates, and check the update record of the projector.
To make sure the normal use of the projector, we suggest that customers
activate the “automatic”.
