Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Park the Jeep on a level surface. Remove either the inner fender or the entire driver’s fender flare. If you remove just the inner fender, three plastic rivets will need to be replaced during reinstallation. Once the hardware is removed, the fender flare should just pop off with some force.
- Step 2: Remove the two nuts and the wire on the studs holding the wiring bracket to the firewall. The bracket will need to be turned 90 degrees and then be reinstalled. The wiring will also need to be moved out of the way.
- Step 3: Remove the 2 wire clips and reroute the wire out of the way.
- Step 4: Install the compressor.
- Step 5: If you have opted to use the ARB manifold, set it up now. The manifold will bolt to the bracket using the supplied hardware. Note that the ARB-supplied hardware will be too long.
- Step 6: Install the bracket and the heat shield to the compressor. If you are opting to run the ARB Manifold, do not install the top 2 bolts into the bracket. If you are not using the manifold, these bolts can be installed.
- Step 7: Place the compressor assembly onto the two studs of the firewall of the Jeep. Use one factory nut and one supplied nut on the studs.
- Step 8: Install the supplied spacer and bolts into the bracket through the ABS module mounting bracket.
- Step 9: If you have opted to use the ARB manifold, install the bracket on the compressor. Install ARB-supplied hose to the manifold.
- Step 10: Set up the control panel. Do not overtighten the ARB filters.
- Step 11: Remove the rear bolt holding the fender to the Jeep.
- Step 12: Cut the supplied 3/8 hose into 2 pieces, one 15 inches and one 9 inches. Install the hose onto the barb fittings on the compressor and the filters. Install the stainless hose on the bulkhead.
