Repair Request Process

1. Fill out page 2 of the document with detailed notes on the repairs needed.
2. If all fixtures require the same service, summarize the quantity and request on one line.
3. If there are specific repairs for each fixture, label each fixture with a number and note that number along with the repair details.
4. If the problem is unknown, state “unknown issue” in the notes but include the symptoms experienced.

1. Wrap each fixture individually to prevent contact during transit.
2. Avoid allowing magnets on fixtures to touch the outer shell of the shipping box to prevent damage.
3. Ensure the box is filled to prevent crushing and tearing during transit.

Repair Questions & Instructions
Please read the shipping and repair questions and fill out page 2 of this document outlining what has been included in the shipping box to be repaired. The more detailed your notes the faster we can complete your repairs and ship back.

Notes regarding your repairs

1.  If all fixtures require the same service, such as a battery update, you can summarize the quantity and request on one line.
2.  If there are specific repairs for each fixture you want us to address, it is helpful to label the fixture with a number, then note that number on the line along with the repair notes
3. If the problem is unknown, simply state “unknown Issue” in the notes, but include the symptoms you are experiencing.

Notes regarding battery replacements

1.  Replace not Repair – Due to the way battery packs are certified once built, we do not repair a battery pack; we can only replace batteries that are not performing at acceptable levels.
2. Low Runtime – If you state that battery runtime is low, we will update the battery.
3. Will not Hold a Charge – If you state the battery is not holding a charge, we will update the battery.
4. Unknown Issue – If your instructions do not point to a battery problem, but the problem is not understood, we may conduct a runtime test to determine the batteries’ ability to hold a charge. This test would incur a $15 service charge.
5.  Water Intrusion – If the battery shows any signs of water damage/intrusion, we will automatically update the battery pack to protect you from an unexpected electrical short or failure that can lead to a fire.

Important Packing Details

1. Wrap each fixture individually so they are not touching or hitting together during transit.
2. If sending fixtures with Magnets, do not allow the magnets to come in contact with the outer shell of the shipping box. Our magnets are super powerful and can pull the fixture through the box to surrounding steel surfaces.
3. Red Plugs – Please insert the Rd Power Disconnect Plugs into the charging ports so the battery is not powering the electronics during transit.
4.  If Fixtures are in multiple pieces, wrap all pieces into one bundle so the Team knows what parts belong to what fixture.
5.  FILL The Box – When packing fixtures, fill in the box with foam so the fixtures cannot move or slide around. The momentum of the weight can tear the box open during transit. A box that is filled is also solid and cannot be easily crushed.
