Quickstart Guide

Main Connector Plug

➢ Red Wire – 12V Constant/Battery
➢ Black Wire – Ground
➢ Yellow Wire – 12V Ignition
➢ Blue – 12V+ Door/Dome Light Trigger
➢ MS Tuning Cable into USB Port
➢ GPS Antenna

o Optional, used as 2nd trigger to start dash

***CAUTION: Make sure to install a Jumper Wire (With Factory Resistor or Fuse) between the vehicle’s alternator excite/sensing wire to the vehicles ignition wire when removing the instrument cluster or your alternator may not charge

Software Setup & Configuration

  1. Wireless Connection – Click on Wireless Symbol (Bottom-Right) & complete network/password

  2. TunerStudio Setup
    Activate Registration – Go to Help -> Enter Registration
    Disable “Check for Updates” – Go to Help and uncheck the “Automatic Update Check” box
    Preferences Setup – Go to Options -> Preferences and check both:
    • Load Last Project on startup
    • Make Dashboards Full Screen
    Data Rate Setup – Go to Communications -> Data Rate
    • Set to “Max Reads Per Second”
    Close TunerStudio to save all settings to your Project

  3. TunerStudio Project Setup
    Update Communication Settings of Project File (Tuning Computer/Laptop)
    • Open TunerStudio with your current tune on your tuning computer/laptop
    • Go to Communication -> Settings and change Connection Typ e to RS232 Serial Interface
    • Close TunerStudio & Copy Project from TunerStudioProjects folder to Thumb Drive
    Upload/Transfer Project File to Dash
    • Close TunerStudio
    • Plug-in Thumb Drive into an open USB Port on the Dash
    • Copy Project File and Paste it to the TunerStudio Project folder
    • Remove USB Drive (Important)
    Connection Settings
    • Open TunerStudio
    • Plug in your MS ECU Tuning Cable into Computer USB Port
    • Go to Communication -> Settings click Detect and select USB option
    Gauge Lag Factor
    • Go to Basic/Load Settings -> General Settings
    • Under General Sensor Settings, increase the default 50 to 95 to speed up gauge refresh rate
    Close TunerStudio to save all settings to your Project

Any part or product found to be defective after examination by Digital Dash EFI LLC will be repaired or replaced. Digital Dash EFI LLC assumes no responsibility for loss of time, diagnosis, removal and/or installation labor, loss of vehicle use, inconvenience or any other consequential expenses.

This Warranty is in lieu of all other expressed warranties or liabilities. Any implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability, shall be limited to the duration of this written warranty.
