Installation Instructions
Step 1:
Choose a suitable location for the wall plate and patio receptacle. Then, run
two coaxial cables between them and attach connectors to both ends. To avoid
confusion later, mark the cables clearly as “cable” and “antenna”. At the
indoor wall plate, connect the antenna downlead and 12V DC power supply cable
as well.
Step 2:
Ensure the jack marked “cable” on the outdoor receptacle connect to the cable
coming from the jack marked “cable” on the indoor wall plate or amplifier.
Step 3:
Flush-mount the wall plate in a standard electrical box (cut hole if needed).
Run 2 #12 wires from the 12V DC port on the wall plate to the location of the
power source in your RV, while routing cable to the wall plate location.
Connect TV 2 outlet and power supply location with cable.
Noted: Ensure the switch is in the OFF position before connections.
Step 4:
Install terminals (not provided) on 12VDC source wires (Figure 1). Crimp them
securely with a suitable crimping tool (e.g., craftsman type 4). Then locate
the terminal board on the wall plate (Figure 2) and push prepared wires onto
designated tabs. Briey touch wires to circuit board tabs. If the indicator
turns on, it means correct polarity (Figure 3). Turn the switch OFF
immediately after.
Step 5:
Connect the cables as shown in Figures 4 and 5. Make sure you have the
appropriate connectors installed on all the cables (downlead, “TV 2”, and
cable). Locate the jacks on the wall plate: “ANTENNA” for the downlead cable,
“TV 2” for the cable going to your second TV outlet, and “CABLE” for the cable
TV input (if you’re using one). Match each cable with its corresponding
labeled jack on the rear of wall plate and connect them securely.
Step 6:
Using appropriate screws to mount the power supply inside the wall. Locate the
F-type connector (labeled “TV”) on the front of the power supply. Attach the
coaxial cable coming from your TV to this connector. If your TV requires a
band separator for VHF and UHF signals, connect it to the corresponding
terminals on your TV set (consult your TV manual for details). Press the
switch on the front of outlet and check whether the indicator is on.
