Introduction

True Wireless earphones from JVC can be used for work, rest, or enjoyment. Up to 4 hours of wireless listening time can be followed by 10 hours of additional listening time after charging anytime, everywhere. 14 hours total of battery life. You can select the earpieces that best fit your ears from a selection of secure and comfortable memory foam and silicone earpieces. The IPX5 waterproof rating means that they offer much more than splash protection, making them perfect for exercising in the gym or getting caught in the rain.

Charging the charging case

• When using a commercially available USB conversion AC adapter, make sure to choose one with an output voltage of DC 5 V and an output current of 1 A and above. Otherwise, it may result in malfunction or abnormal heating.
• Use only the supplied charging cable to charge the System.
• Using the supplied charging cable, connect the System and a commercially available USB conversion adapter.

1. Connect the charging cable provided to start charging.
   Insert the USB AC adapter into the AC outlet to start charging
   The indicators flash and light up in white indicating that charging has started.
   The charging time for the charging case is approx. 3 hours.

Charging the earphones

1. Open the charging case
2. Insert the L and R earphones correctly and firmly into the charging case.
   The indicator on the earphones lights up in red during charging, and the indicators on the charging case light up or flash in white.
   After charging is complete, the indicators for both the earphones and charging case will turn off.
   The charging time for the earphones is approx. 2 hours

Pairing for the First Time

Take out both the L (left) and R (right) earphones.

1. After the earphones are taken out, the L (left) and R (right) indicators light up in white for 1 second, and the power turns on automatically.
2. When the L and R earphones are connected with each other, the R indicator starts to flash slowly in white.
3. After a short while, the L indicator starts to flash quickly and alternately between red and white, and a voice message saying “Pairing mode” can be heard.

Turn on the Bluetooth function of the BLUETOOTH device.

Select “JVC HA-A10T” from the device list.

• After the connection is established, both the L and R indicators will flash slowly in white, and the earphones can now be used for listening to music.

Audio operation

Wearing

• Identify the L and R sides of the earphones and put them on correctly
• Adjust the position of the earphones to fit them into your ears.
• The medium-size silicone ear pieces are attached when purchased.
• Choose an appropriate earpiece from the three sizes (S, M, and L) to enhance your listening experience and for the best fit.
• Check that the earpiece is securely attached as shown in the figure.
• If the earpiece is not securely attached, it may slip off when in use and remain in your ear. If the earpiece remains in your ear, be careful not to push it further into your ear.
• Compress the earpiece with your fingers and insert the earphone into your ear.

Operating the remote control

Launch the music player app on the BLUETOOTH device connected, to start playback.

Play/Pause (Icon_Play-Pause)
Press the button on L or R earphones once quickly.

Volume adjustment (Icon_Volume-Down/Icon_Volume-UP)

• To raise the volume, press the button on the R earphone twice quickly.
• To lower the volume, press the button on the L earphone twice quickly.

Skip to the next track (Icon_FF)

• During playback, press and hold the button for about 1 second and release your finger when a beep is heard.
• The next track will be played after the playback of the current track has ended.

Skip to the previous track or the beginning of the current track (Icon_REW)

• During playback, press and hold the button for about 1 second and release your finger when a beep is heard.
• The previous track or beginning of the current track will be played after the playback of the current track has ended.

Power Off

After using the earphones, place them back into the charging case. The power of the earphones will turn off and charging will start automatically.

• The earphones start charging.

Note
If the battery power of the charging case has run out, the power of the earphones will not turn off automatically even when they are placed back into the charging case. When this occurs, charge the charging case.

How are JVC memory foam earbuds used?

Insert the pliable memory foam tips by pressing them into your ears. During prolonged usage, the forms recover to fit softly and securely, adding to the comfort and noise isolation.

How do the volume controls on my JVC earbuds work?

Press the R earphone button twice fast to increase the volume. Press the L earphone button twice fast to reduce the volume.

How can JVC headphones tell when they are fully charged?

The earphones’ indicators will turn off after charging is finished. The earphones take around 2 hours to charge. The power of the earphones will automatically cut off once they are placed into the charging case.

My JVC headphones won’t connect; why?

Make sure the Bluetooth device is within one metre of the system when pairing. On the Bluetooth device, turn pairing on. Reset pairing by erasing the pairing data from the Bluetooth device list. After turning the connected device’s Bluetooth feature off and back on, perform operations.

How do you activate pairing mode on JVC earbuds?

For around three seconds, press and hold the buttons on the L (left) and R (right) headphones. 2 The L and R earphones’ power is turned on. Release your fingers from the buttons when the L indicator begins to rapidly alternate between red and white (or when you hear the spoken message “Pairing mode”).

Why are the red flashes on my JVC headphones?

The System and the BLUETOOTH device are not connected when the light remains slowly blinking red. To connect, choose System on the Bluetooth device in this scenario.

How are JVC wireless headphones reset?

For around 20 seconds, press and hold the L earphone’s button. The indicator flashes three times in white after 10 seconds of holding down the button while pressing. Release your finger after another 10 seconds of holding the button down until the indicator flashes three times in white once again.

How long does it take for JVC headphones to charge?

Mine take around an hour or less to fully recharge after I use them for approximately 6-7 hours. Once they are fully charged, the little led next to the play button goes off.

Why does one ear of my Bluetooth headphones only function?

Depending on the audio settings on your headset, it might only play in one ear. So make sure the mono option is off in your audio properties by checking your audio properties. Make sure the voice levels on both earbuds are balanced as well.

Why don’t my earbuds work?

The most common reasons why earphones and earbuds quit working are cable tension, incorrect wiring from the manufacturer, moisture damage, and damage to the sound drivers. These incidents could result in audio shorts or a total disconnect between the drivers and the audio source.
