Safety Instructions

Before starting to use it we recommend you read these safety instructions carefully.

  • Make sure all locking systems are in place. Only for children aged over 3.
  • Always wear a helmet and body protection when riding it (protection for hands/wrists, knees, head, and elbows).
  • Always wear appropriate clothing with protection for your fingers. Do not wear sandals. Check that your shoelaces are tied properly.
  • You should not ride on the main road or in residential zones with traffic.
  • Do not ride in the dark.
  • Riding over water is prohibited.
  • Do not ride if one or more children are running in different directions ahead of you.
  • You must not ride the scooter onto an escalator/lift.
  • You must slow down in areas where there are potholes or stop.
  • Riding a scooter is a sport, and training tools are not road vehicles. Nevertheless, if you ever find yourself in a public area, you must comply with all the safety regulations, as if you ride on a public road, they are also mandatory for you.
  • You should always follow this manual when using the scooter, taking the greatest possible care to protect your safety and that of other people. Bear in mind that riding the e-scooter on a public road without following regulations has the same legal consequences as in the case of other vehicles. If you have an accident you may be charged with illegal riding, illegal operation or improper transport. As in the case of walking or riding a bicycle you may also be affected by damage or injuries caused by other vehicles.
  • As in the case of all vehicles, the faster you ride the greater the braking distance. Irregular road surfaces may mean you have to brake in an emergency, causing the wheels to slide and you to lose your balance and/or fall.
  • It is thus important to remain alert when riding, maintaining a speed with respect to other people and vehicles that maintains a reasonable safety distance. This is particularly important if you are riding on unknown terrain. Be alert and ride slowly. Respect pedestrians when you ride on the scooter. Be alert when there are passers-by, particularly with children. The same is true when you are behind pedestrians and want to slow down. As far as possible, keep away from pedestrians. Ride with pedestrians facing you, keeping to the right at a slow speed.
  • There are countries in which there is no national regulation governing electric scooters and where they may be ridden. In any case, this does not exempt the rider from complying strictly with the safety requirements explained in this manual.
  • Ninco Desarrollos S.L.U. does not accept any direct or indirect liability for infringements due to a breach of the rules suggested in this manual, such as personal loss, accidents, litigation, and any other adverse events that lead to a conflict of interest.
  • The scooter may not be rented. If you leave the scooter with a friend, before they use it please indicate the safety elements to be implemented and how to use the scooter safely. Remember that as you are the owner, you are responsible for any damage that may be caused.
  • Before riding the scooter, we recommend that you carry out a basic inspection. If you discover any loose pieces, the battery discharged, or excessive wear in any element, or if you hear an unusual noise, please stop using the scooter immediately. Always check that the steering system is correctly adjusted, and that all the connective components are fitted properly and not broken. Do not ride recklessly.
  • The mechanism to reduce speed heats up with continuous use; do not touch it after braking.
  • Follow the maintenance instructions specified to avoid future problems.
  • In case of doubt, consult our website: www.ninco.com and/or contact our technical department.
