INSTALLATION
If the vehicle is 2022 or newer you can skip this step and go to the bracket mount procedure following this otherwise cut out the mounting hole template from your instruction’s paperwork and position it on the rear section of the frame as shown with the rivet centered in the upper hole and the bottom edge of the template running parallel with the radius rod support plate. Mark out on the frame the two lower holes and then drill out to a 3/8” hole, remove any rough edges and apply some paint to prevent rust in the future.
Remove the two outer torx bit screw from the underside of the fender and save for later use, next remove the 4 bolts running through the rear tubes of the cage.
Install the brackets as shown with the bumper brackets mounting to the outsides of the tube and the break in the bracket aiming to the center of the vehicle. Snug down the hardware but allow a slight amount of movement for final adjustment in a later step.
Next carefully lift your bumper up to the vehicles brackets but allowing one corner of the bumper to enter the pocket and then bringing the other side, install a supplied bolt with washer through the bumper and bracket installed onto the rear cage tube and loosely secure it with a washer and nut. Repeat the steps for the other side and now the bumper can hang on its own, use the remaining supplied hardware to loosely secure the lower section of the bumper to the frame holes drilled earlier.
Finally, get the bumper lined up with plastics before tightening down the upper factory and supplied hardware. Once the upper hardware is tightened down and everything looks acceptable go ahead and tighten down the lower supplied hardware and replace the outer torx we removed from the rear fenders earlier.
