Home Depot ALIEN TAPE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

- Suitable surfaces: Wood, marble, leather, smooth and frosted glass, smooth tile, and plastic surfaces.
IF USED ON SHEETROCK AND PAINTED SURFACES, APPLICATION WILL BE PERMANENT.
REMOVING THE ALIEN TAPE MAY CAUSE THE PAINT TO PEEL OR LEAVE RESIDUE.
TIP: TO HELP REMOVE THE TAPE FROM THE PAINTED WALL, SPRAY WATER ON THE
TAPE’S EDGES TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE.
PREPARING THE SURFACE
Clean the surface prior to application for best results. Make sure the surface is flat, dry, and free of dirt and oil.
APPLYING ALIEN TAPE

Measure and cut the tape to the desired size. Always cut one strip at a time.

Place tape on the surface with the adhesive side down. Use plenty of tapes to cover the surface. Ex.: Use all sides of the picture frame, as shown above. Firmly press against all areas for 15 seconds each to help adhere.

Peel off the backing to expose the double stick side.
IMPORTANT: Firmly press against all areas for 15-30 seconds each to help adhere. -
Simply remove the tape by slowly pulling it off.
CLEANING & STORAGE
To re-use tape, wash a strip of tape under running water. Let air dry. It is ready to be re-used. Store Alien Tape roll inside a plastic storage bag after every use.
IMPORTANT
- Do not use it on painted surfaces or sheetrock as it will be permanent. Removing the tape may cause damage or leave a residue.
- The tape will not work on nonstick surfaces.
- Make sure to apply enough tape in order to hold the object.
- Do not use on surfaces that are not even. The alien tape must have full contact with the surface.
- Improper installation may cause damage to property. Always read and follow all instructions prior to use.
