- Q: Can I bring my fabric for the class?
- A: Fabric for the class is included in the cost, so there is no need to bring your fabric.
- Q: What happens if I miss the class?
- A: If you miss the class without prior notice, a refund will not be issued. Contact PS&V for any concerns regarding missed classes.
Using Instructions
Class Reservation
- To reserve a seat in Pocono Sew & Vac classes, full payment is required at the time of registration.
Homework Requirement
- Some classes may require homework like cutting or preparing fabrics before the session.
- Check the class description for any homework requirements. Failure to complete homework before the class will result in ineligibility to attend with no refund issued.

In this class, kids will learn how to create their own adorable pocket pillow! This pillow cover is great for those long car rides with a convenient handle to carry and a pocket for their books, tablets or all their treasures. This fun and engaging workshop will teach children basic sewing skills while allowing them to unleash their creativity.
Supply List
- Sewing Machine in good working order and knowledge of how to thread it and wind a bobbin
- Bagged Lunch
- Matching Thread
- Pins
- Tape Measure
- Seam Ripper (most machines come with a seam ripper)
- Fabric Scissors
- 80/12 universal sewing needle
- ¾’’ grosgrain ribbon (optional)
- 18’’ Pillow form (not needed for class but needed to complete project)
Fabric for this class is included in the cost. Please stop by Pocono Sew and Vac prior to the day of class to select your fabrics. Students will not have time to select fabrics before the start of or during class.

Class Cancellation Policy
To reserve a seat, all Pocono Sew & Vac classes must be paid in full upon registration. In the event that a student needs to cancel their reservation for a class, they should notify PS&V at least 7 days in advance (by phone) to be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before class will not be issued a refund. If a class does not have the minimum number of participants 7 days prior to class day, the teacher will cancel class. The customer will be fully refunded within 7 to 10 business days. Any questions call PS&V at 800-442-8227.
Some classes require homework to be done before class, such as cutting/prepping fabrics. If homework is required, it will be posted in the class description. Please read the class description thoroughly before signing up before a class. If homework is not done by the start of class, you will not be able to attend, and a refund will not be issued. If you have any questions regarding class homework, please call the store and we will be happy to help.
