Initial Setup
Before initial startup, ensure you have read the intended use information
at www.lancom-systems.com/safety.
Operate the device only with a professionally installed power supply connected to a nearby accessible power socket.
Hardware Overview
- 2 SSD slots for easy replacement of defective SSDs
- RESET button: Press to restart the device
- Serial Configuration Interface (RJ45): Maintenance interface for expert configuration
- TP Ethernet interfaces ETH0 – ETH1: Connect to additional network components using suitable Ethernet cables
- USB 3.0 interfaces: For reinstallation of device software
- 8 slots for extension modules: RJ45, SFP, or SFP+ modules
Maintenance and Connections:
- Grounding connection: Connect a grounding cable to the rear panel
- USB 2.0 interface: For reinstalling device software
- Mains switch: Start up the device after connecting the power supply
- Power supply modules: Supply power via both mains connections at the rear using supplied power cables
Mounting Instructions
Ensure mains plugs are freely accessible, do not stack devices on top of
each other, keep ventilation slots clear, and mount the device using enclosed
materials in a free 19 slot of an appropriate server rack.
LED Indicators
- SSD LEDs: Off – No SSD read/write access, Green – SSD read/write access
- Power LED: Off – Device switched off, Green – Device ready and accessible
- ETH0 – ETH1 LEDs: Left – Link activity, Right – Link speed indicators
