This Heat Mat does not include a temperature controller. Once plugged in, the Heat Mat is always on and produces a constant 20 watts. Perfect for gently heating the soil’s root zone to optimal seed germination temperatures.

Use Instructions as Fermentation Heater

  1. Check the optimal temperature for your intended use.
  2. If the product gets too warm, use spacers like popsicle sticks or wooden pencils to increase the distance from the heater to the container or consider using a Heat Mat Temperature Controller (sold separately).
  3. Never wrap the Heat Mat with insulating materials as it may cause the product to overheat.

Danger Warnings:

  • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
