Safety Precaution

• Avoid dropping the lamp, subjecting it to being struck by things with sharp edges, handling it roughly, or scratching the surface. The broken bulb could hurt someone.
• Check the new bulb’s rating (voltage and wattage) and socket base design while changing the bulb. Make sure the replacement bulb is in the socket correctly, then snap it shut. An improperly installed bulb may heat up or come free from the socket.
• When the lamp is on or right after it has been turned off, avoid making direct contact with the skin and refrain from touching the bulb with bare hands. Burns may result from the hot bulb.
• Turn off the lamp and allow the bulb to cool before replacing it. Burns may result from the hot bulb.

Insert the lamp’s cylindrical cylinder into the clamp’s wide grips. The wing nut on the clamp should be turned clockwise to tighten. Now that the clamp light and holster are completely fastened, the clamp should be keeping the components together.

Do you leave a heat lamp on all night?****

(If used outdoors, confirm that it is safe from wind and weather and that it is designed to be used outdoors.) Out of sight: Be sure there is a functional smoke detector close by and try to avoid using the lamp at night or when you can’t supervise it.

Can I use a 9 watt bulb in this lamp?****

To determine the wattage, you’ll need to read the fine print, but it should. Those may be 50 or 75 watt lamps, I believe.

Can you paint the outside of this light using spray paint?****

I don’t get why not because it’s just aluminum and the socket pops out of the shell.
