NEEDLES AND EXTRAS
- 1 pair 12mm knitting needles, or size that gives correct tension.
- A yarn needle.
TENSION
- 6 sts and 9 rows to 10 cm over stocking st, using 12mm needles.
SCARF
- Using 12mm needles and C1, cast on 17 sts.
- Beg moss st – 1st row (RS) – K1, P1, K1, rep from to end.
- Rep 1st row throughout for moss st.
- Cont in moss st until 1½ balls of C1 has been used, working last row on WS.
- Using C2, cont in moss st until 2 balls of C2 has been used, working last row on WS.
- Using C1, cont in moss st until 1 ball of C1 has been used, working last row on WS.
- Using C2, cont in moss st until 2 balls of C2 has been used, working last row on WS.
- Using C1, cont in moss st until remainder of C1 has been used (allowing enough for cast o?), working last row on WS.
- Cast off.
