AMTAST A1 Water Timer Garden Hose Timer

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

SPECIFICATION

NOTE

1. For outdoor use only
2. Clean the flter regularly and replace if it is wom in order to extend the working life of timer
3. In winter, please remove batteries, drain and store it indoor to away from freezing
4. Do not install the timer with tools. Hand tighten ONLY. Use of tools may damage the timer
5. Do not subject the product to extreme force and shock
6. To prevent leakage, make sure that the water timer is tightly attached to the faucet and hose, add rubber washer and thread seal tape if necessary.

PRODUCT INSTALLATION

Installing the Batteries

1. Remove the battery cover on back of the timer
2. Install 2 new AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included)
3. Firmly reinstall the cover back into the timer

NOTE

• Firmly restore the battery to ensure water resistance.
• Removed old batteries at the end of the watering season and disposed of them properly.
• Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on display.
• Please do not insert rechargeable batteries to avoid low voltage.
• The timer don’t have programmable memory, it need to reset once power off.

Installing the timer

1. Attach the timer to an outdoor hose faucet.
2. Please turn on the tap after programming the timer.

NOTE

• When programming the timer, please turn off the tap to avoid getting wet.
• Do not install the timer with tools. Hand tighten only.
• Keep away from freezing. Timer should be removed to avoid freezing damage.
• Filter can trap dirt particles, please clean filter regularly and replace if worn.

Automatic Watering Program Setting

SET CLOCK

1. Turn dial to SET CLOCK
2. Press the “+ – ” to set the current hour and mintues. Press “OK” or turn dial to save changes.

TIPS:

• Hold the“ + or -” button can increase the time quickly.
• At the end of setting, please turn dial to save changes. If you press“OK” at the end, it will go back to the first setting.

SET START TIME

1. Turn dial to START TIME
2. Press the ” + – ” to set the current hour and mintues. Press “OK ” or turn dial to save changes.

SET HOW LONG

1. Turn dial to HOW LONG
2. Press the ” + -” to select watering duration and press “OK” button or turn dial to save changes.

SET HOW OFTEN

1. Turn dial to HOW OFTEN
2. Press the “+ – ” to select watering duration and press “OK” button or turn dial to save changes.

AUTO
Turn dial to AUTO to allow your timer to water as you set the program before it will display the current day and time, and followed to the next watering plan.

OFF MODE
Turn dial to OFF, the screen shows OFF and the battery level.
All program are saved and the timer stop working.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

MANUAL WATERING
Please make sure the timer is in Auto Run state.

1. Press and press “+ – ” to select watering duration from 1 min to 23 hours 59 mins.
2. Press “OK ” button or no operation 10s, it will start to watering.

When you press the ” ” button again, the manual watering task ends even if it is watering and the timer will switch back to Auto mode.

RAIN DELAY
Please make sure the timer is in Auto Run state.

1. Hold and press “+ ” button 5s until the appears on the screen
2. Press “+ – ” button to set the duration of the delay from 1 to 7 days.
3. Press “OK ” button to save changes.

CHILDREN LOCK
Please make sure the timer is in Auto Run state.
Hold and press ” -” button 5s until appears on the screen. If you want to cancel the, press “_ ” button 5s again.

FAQ

• Q1: The LCD screen does not display anything when the batteries are installed.
  A1 Two batteries loaded are new 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, make sure the batteries are properly placed in the battery box.

• Q2: Water does not come on at preset time.
  A2 Check if:
  Clock should be set to the correct time.
  Start time is set to desired the time. Rain Delay is on.
  OFF mode is on.
  The batteries are low.
  The faucet is turned off.

• Q3: The hose tap connection/outlet leaks.
  A3 Check if:
  The O-ring is connected correctly to the hose tap.
  The connection outlet or water pipe is broken.
  The faucet and water pipe has a different thread.

If necessary, please use an appropriate adapter or PTFE tape.
