FLA: AMKB3J- 19J296-AA

INTRODUCTION

This Wireless Charger supports fast Qi Wireless Smart Phone Charging up to 10W.

OPERATION

When the vehicle’s ignition is activated, the Charger’s inbuilt status LED will illuminate blue to indicate the charger is in standby mode ready for charging.

Place device centrally on the Charger to begin charging. The LED colour will change to green to indicate that charging has commenced, and you will receive a notification on your device to indicate that it is charging.

If the device is positioned incorrectly, an incompatible device is placed on the charger or there are metallic objects like coins placed between the charger and the device, the LED will illuminate red indicate an error state. Remove the device, make sure the charger is free of any other materials and place the device centrally on the charger to re-commence charging.

CAUTION: Do not charge if there are any metal objects placed between pad and your device. This may cause objects to become hot and result in burns.

CLEANING

The rubber mat can be removed from the charger for cleaning. Please clean with soapy water only and allow to dry before re-installing on the charger by pressing the rubber tabs in to the corresponding holes on the charger.

NOTE

This Wireless Charger will only charge devices that are compatible with Qi Wireless Charging. If unsure, please consult your device manufacturer.

WARNINGS

Wireless charging uses magnetic induction to charge your Phone. Do not place anything between your iPhone and the charger. Magnetic mounts, magnetic cases, or other objects between your iPhone and the charger might reduce performance or damage magnetic strips or RFID chips like those found in some credit cards, security badges, passports, and key fobs. If your phone case holds any of these sensitive items, remove them before charging or make sure that they are not between the back of your iPhone and the charger.

If your Phone isn’t charging or is charging slowly and your Phone has a thick case, metal case, or battery case, try removing the case.

If your Phone vibrates–when it gets a notification, for example–your iPhone might shift in position. This can cause the charging mat to stop providing power to your Phone. If this happens often, consider turning off vibration, turning on Do Not Disturb or using a thin case to prevent movement.

Your Phone might get slightly warmer while it charges. To extend the lifespan of your battery, if the battery gets too warm, software might limit the charge rate. Your Phone will charge at the fill rate again when the temperature drops.
Your Phone will not charge wirelessly when connected to USB.
