Keep water and other liquids from entering the inside of the unit. Liquid inside the unit could cause an electrical shock.
Do not over fill pans or trays. Liquid could contact the electrical components and cause a short circuit or an electrical shock.

NOTICE: Using a voltage other than the nameplate rated voltage will cause damage to the unit. Incorrect voltage, modification to the power cord or electrical components can damage unit and will void the warranty.

NOTICE: Do not use food pans deeper than 6″ (15.2 cm).

  1. Open the access door and check that the drain valve is in the closed position.

  2. Plug electrical power cord into a grounded outlet matching the nameplate rated voltage.

  3. Turn the power switch to the ON position. Note: This equipment features a bump start, which starts the compressor in stages to protect the components. When the equipment is switched ON, the compressor will cycle on and off three times. After the third cycle the equipment should function as normal.

  4. Allow the equipment to run for approximately 30 minutes. For the best performance when using ice with this equipment, allow equipment to run for approximately 2 hours before adding ice. This will help the ice remain solid.

Clean with a neutral cleaner such as a solution of warm water and a small amount of dish detergent or products specifically made for cleaning Plexiglas® and acrylic plastic.

Recommended cleaners for Plexiglas® and acrylic include:

  • Novus® #1
  • Plexi-Clear
