USER MANUAL

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Read these instructions carefully before using the device and save them for future reference. The appliance is intended only for cooking.
  • Before switching on for the first time, check whether the power supply of the product indicated in the technical data table corresponds to the power supply in your local network.
  • Use only for domestic purposes, according to this operating manual. The device is not intended for industrial use.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning, or if you do not use it.
  • When disconnecting the device from the power supply, do not pull the power cord, only hold the plug.
  • To avoid electric shock and fire, do not immerse the device in water or other liquids, and do not install the device on a wet surface, or near water. If this happens, disconnect it from the power supply immediately and contact the service centre for verification.
  • Avoid simultaneous use of this appliance with other high-power electrical appliances.
  • To avoid a short circuit, clean the appliance regularly, and avoid insects getting inside.
  • Use only dishes that are resistant to high temperatures for cooking.
  • Do not use the device in places where children can easily come into contact with the device. NEVER allow children to operate the device on their own.
  • Never leave the appliances unattended while using them. Overheating leads to the formation of smoke and greasy spots that can ignite.
  • Do not place items on the plate after heating until the plate has cooled down, as non-heat-resistant items can easily burn or melt.
  • Do not touch the stove until the heating warning indicator goes out. The flashing overheating warning indicator indicates that the temperature of the heating zone of the stove is too high to touch. As soon as the temperature cools down to a safe level, the overheating warning indicator will automatically turn off.
  • Do not turn off the power until the overheating warning light goes out to prevent any accidents or injuries.
  • Do not connect the plug to an electrical outlet to which several other electrical appliances are also connected.
  • Do not cook on a broken or cracked hob. If the surfaces of the hob are cracked, immediately unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and contact a qualified technician.
  • Do not modify parts or repair the device yourself.
  • Do not use the device near a fire or wet places.
  • Do not install the device on unstable surfaces.
  • Do not move the appliance when there is a pan or baking tray on it.
  • Do not heat the pan empty and do not overheat it.
  • Use the device so that there is enough space around it. For optimal and safe operation, the device must be placed at least 10 cm away from the wall. Make sure that there are no obstacles on the front side, as well as on the right or left side of the device.
  • Do not use the device on a carpet, tablecloth or any other products with low-temperature resistance.
  • Do not block the air intake or exhaust outlet.
  • Do not touch the top plate immediately after removing the pan or pan, as the top plate will still be very hot.
  • Do not use the device with a broken or damaged power cord. Contact a qualified specialist for inspection or repair, or contact the manufacturer.
  • Unplug the device from the wall outlet before cleaning or maintenance.
  • Allow the device to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Use only a mild detergent to remove dirt.
  • Do not immerse the device under running water to avoid malfunctions.
  • Before cooking, make sure that the ceramic dishes are clean, otherwise, it may be difficult to wash off dirt and soot, and the dishes may discolour.

  • Persons with pacemakers should be at least 60 cm away from the working stove.
  • Failure to follow these recommendations may result in electric shock or death.
  • The device is not intended for use by people with physical and mental disabilities who have no experience with this device. In such cases, the user must be previously instructed by the person responsible for his safety.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
  • Let the unit cool down completely.
  • Wipe external surfaces with a damp cloth with some washing-up liquid. Do not use abrasive detergents, any organic solvent or aggressive chemicals.
