Frequently Asked Questions

• Q: How can I switch between day and night mode automatically?
  • A: The device offers an Auto mode that switches between day and night automatically based on onboard signals. Note that during adverse weather or in tunnels during the day, it may not switch to night mode.

Touch screen operation

The product adopts touch operation. The entire active area can operate. We can Slide and click on the display.
The active area is divided into three. The area inside the red box on the left can be swiped left and right. After swiping, icons can be switched. The area inside the red box on the right can slide left and right to hide or display the tire pressur; The remaining areas can be slid up and down to switch between different operating interfaces.

Interface Description(Night Mode)

• %: Remaining battery percentage, can be clicked to switch, and after switching, it can be viewed on the main interface;
• Numbers: Remaining range, can be switched by clicking, and can be viewed on the main interface after switching;
• York steering wheel: This icon can be clicked to switch, and after switching, it can be viewed on the main interface;
• Classic steering wheel: This can be clicked to switch, and after switching, it can be viewed on the main interface;
• Bar: The tire pressure unit is set to Bar. You can click to switch, and after switching, you can view it on the main interface;
• PSI: The tire pressure unit is set to PSI. You can click to switch, and after switching, you can view it on the main interface;
• Light: Day mode, can be clicked to switch, and after switching, all interfaces will be forced to change to day mode;
• Dark: Night mode, can be clicked to switch, and after switching, all interfaces will be forced to change to night mode;
• Auto: Automatic mode, can be clicked to switch. After switching, the interface will switch between day and night automatically. (note! Mode switching automatically switches with the onboard signal every day, but cannot change to night mode when encountering tunnel entry or adverse weather during the day)

1. Click on the WIFI tab to enter the WIFI settings interface;

2. Click on the WIFI switch to turn on WIFI;

3. Swipe up and down to select WIFI network, click to enter WIFI connection;

4. Click on the Others tab to enter the WIFI name manually when you can not find the WIFI network you want.

5. WIFI password input box;

6. Keyboard area, press “Enter” to confirm after input is completed;

Firmware setting interface

1. Software and hardware version number: HMI software version number, MCU software version number, OS software version number, hardware version number;
2. SN: Product serial number;
3. VIN: Vehicle identification number;
4. Release Note: Update content messages;
5. Manual: Manual update button;
6. Auto: Automatic update button, clicking it will automatically push software updates;

OTA Software Update

1. Enter the WIFI interface, connect to WIFI or connect to a mobile hotspot. Please refer to “VI: WIFI Settings Interface” for instructions;
2. Enter Firmware, click the “Manual” button, and a Firmware Upgrade prompt box will pop up. Click “start” ;
3. Wait for the software update to be completed, and do not power off during the update;

CARPLAY Fuction

CARPLAY Fuction（Hide）

Instrument operation instructions:

1. Enter the WIFI interface and close WIFI; (Many people cannot search for Carplay because this step was not done)

Mobile operating instructions:

1. Open the “Settings” app on iPhone;
2. Click on the “General” option;
3. Select “Carplay in car”;
4. If the car supports wireless CarPlay, iPhone will prompt to use wireless connection, click “Open Bluetooth” and wait for the system to search for available cars;
5. Click on “Marsdance Console” (Attention not Marsdance Sound)to connect;
6. Change to CarPlay after successful connection;

Vehicle operation

1. Turn on Tesla car Bluetooth;
2. After searching for Bluetooth, click on “Marsdance Sound” to connect;
3. Configuration completed.
