Unication P25 G-Series Voice Pager

Antenna Best Practice Guidance
Unication has compiled the below best practice recommendations to help agencies reduce unnecessary antenna replacements caused by improper care & handling. Educating users on proper care and handling is the best way to proactively reduce the number of antenna replacements you experience and help extend the life of antennas on the G2-G5 Voice Pagers.

BEST PRACTICES TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE

  • Never handle or hold unit by the antenna.
    • Examples: Pulling unit from belt clip or pocket by grasping antenna, holding the unit by the antenna
    • Avoid placing direct impact or pressure on the antenna when wearing on belt while driving/riding in a vehicle. Take care to position the pager so there is no pressure on the antenna from the seatbelt or impact from pressing against the console or door.
  • Lay pager flat when charging using the micro-USB cable rather than standing upright, as a fall or drop that impacts the antenna may cause damage.
Optional Holster and Belt Clip Accessories:

Accessory options featuring a swivel belt allow for 360-degree rotation of the pager and may help users better position the pager on belt. Visit www.unicationusa.com/gseriesp25voicepager for more information on these options.

  • G-Series Holster w/Swivel Clip (available in nylon, economy, or premium leather options)
  • G-Series Swivel Belt Clip Kit (Stud and detachable metal Swivel Belt Clip- replaces standard belt clip)
