Product Information

The Lumiere Body is a noninvasive cellulite-reducing device designed for home use. It combines RF technology with RED LED light therapy and Ultrasonic vibration to provide effective cellulite reduction, toning, and body skin stimulation. This device is intended for over-the-counter cosmetic use and has been proven to improve muscle tone and firmness in the arms, abdomen, thighs, and buttocks areas.

Numiere Body Technologies

• Sonic Pulsation (Body Contour): Sonic vibration for sculpting body contour, eliminating excess fat, and toning the muscle.
• RED LIGHT w/infrared (620-730nm Wavelength): The red light penetrates the skin to stimulate fiber cells, improve blood circulation, collagen production, and reduce wrinkles. Infrared light therapy stimulates collagen production for more elastic and smoother skin.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Remove the Numiere Body device and accompanying accessories from the box.
2. Press the stop button to adjust the RF and EMS power. There are 5 intensity levels to choose from.
3. Charge the device until it is fully charged.
4. Once charged, the device is in standby mode and ready for use.
5. Apply a thin layer of primer gel to the intended clean treatment area. Alternatively, apply a moderate amount of gel to the treatment surface of the device. The primer gel is designed to improve electrical conduction for optimal results.
6. Press and hold the power button for 2-5 seconds to activate the device. This will activate mode 1: RF mode and red LEDs.
7. To switch between different modes, press the power button. Mode 1 is for reducing the appearance of cellulite and wrinkles, Mode 2 is for relieving stiff muscles and sculpting body contour, and Mode 3 combines all options for maximum results.
8. Place the treatment surface on the clean and dry skin area. Ensure that the skin is free of moisturizer or lotions that may damage the device.
9. Move the device with gentle massage movements back and forth on the designated skin area. You may feel a slight warmth during the treatment.
10. Treatments can be performed on the waist, buttocks, hips, calves, legs, back, chest, stomach area, and arms. Proceed slowly and carefully during the treatment.

Technologies

RF – Radio Frequency Treatment

Generating heat deep into the tissue and stimulate collagen production to reduce the appearance of loose skin and cellulite. RF waves target and heat the fat cells collected beneath the skin, causing them to break down. They are then absorbed by the lymphatic system and naturally disposed of. The Bipolar RF treatment will provide heat up to 5-7 mm beneath the surface of the skin to help the body eliminate fat cells. It causes the fatty deposits under your skin to drain out through your lymphatic system, which significantly reduces the appearance of cellulite.

Sonic Pulsation (Body Contour)

Sonic Vibration – Sonic massage to sculpt body contour, eliminate excess fat, tone the muscle.

RED LIGHT w/infrared (620-730nm Wavelength)

The red light penetrating 8-10mm is suitable for any type of skin; it can reach derma to stimulate fiber cells. Heating can improve blood circulation and collagen albumen hyperplasia to reduce wrinkles and make skin more elastic and smoother. Infrared light Therapy- Stimulate collagen production and increase production of collagen which gives skin its structure, strength, and elasticity

Safety Note

Please follow the instructions to ensure that you are using this device correctly and safely. The Numiere Body device comes with a thermal sensor designed for measuring body temperature and stabilizing the emitted heat energy. To prevent overheating, the unique heat stabilizer built into the device measures the skin
temperature in the treated area during the treatment. When an increase in skin temperature is measured (42⁰C-43⁰C), the stabilizer will immediately stop the emission of the heat, until there is a sufficient reduction in skin heat, which will allow the heat stabilizer to resume the heating activity.

How To Use

1. Remove the Numiere Body device and the accompanying accessories from the box.

2. Charge the device until fully charged.

3. Once charged, the device is in standby mode and ready for use.

4. Apply a thin layer of primer gel to the intended clean treatment area. Alternatively, Apply a moderate amount of gel to the treatment surface of the device. The primer gel is designed for better electrical conduction to the skin, for optimal results.

5. Press and hold the power button for 2-5 seconds until activated. This will activate mode 1: the RF mode and red LEDs are active.

   • Repeat pressing the power button / operating mode to choose between the different modes:
     Mode 1: RF and red lights – skin treatment to reduce the appearance of cellulite and to reduce it showing lines and wrinkles.
     Mode 2: Sonic & IR, Red light- Relief stiff muscles and sculpt body contour, eliminate excess fat, and tone the muscle.

6. Mode 3: RF, Sonic & IR, Red light- Combine all 3 options for maximum results.

7. Press the step button to adjust the RF and EMS power. A total of 5 degrees.

8. Place the treatment surface on the skin. Pay attention, the skin must be clean and dry before applying the primer gel. The skin must be free of moisturizer or other lotions which may damage the device.

9. Place the device on the designated skin area. You will feel a slight warmth. Move the device with gentle massage movements back and forth. Treatments area: waist, buttocks, hips, calf, leg, back, chest, stomach area, and arms (proceed slowly and carefully).

Please note:

1. The bulbs will only work when the device comes in contact with the skin. The device will automatically turn off in the absence of contact for more than two minutes.
2. The battery indicator light will flash red when the battery is low.
3. The TREATMENT SURFACE cannot be in contact with the skin when in charging mode
4. Do not place the treatment surface on the skin when changing operation mode.
5. When switching between the different modes, the device will make a “beep” sound.
6. The default intensity is set to minimum mode.

Note: For best results, you may choose to focus on the most concerned area of skin within the treatment area for a full 5-minute treatment cycle, then repeat on the other areas. If necessary 1. Choose a preferred treatment area on both sides of the body 2. Clean the intended treatment area using an oil-free cleaning product. Any oil-based product intended for the skin may blocks the RF frequency waves. Shaving unnecessary hair from the treatment area since it can create a tingling sensation 3. Cover the selected treatment area with a thin layer of gel primer. If the skin dries out during the treatment, apply more gel.

Treatment Areas

There are seven (7) recommended treatment areas (see image below):

TREATMENT TECHNIQUES

GLIDES

• To glide, place Numiere Body at the starting point of a treatment area, Slowly glide the device in an upward motion using medium pressure to the endpoint for 5 seconds. See the illustration shown for starting and ending points for each treatment area.

HOLDS (Recommended for stubborn areas):

• To hold, place Numiere Body on the targeted area and hold in place for at least 10-15 seconds. Do not glide. You may treat multiple stubborn areas within the treatment area for up to 5 minutes.

Maintenance

• After each treatment session, it is necessary to clean your body device, and specifically concentrating on the TREATMENT SURFACE.
• Turn off the body device before cleaning. Use absorbent paper (such as paper towel, toilet paper , wipes, or hand drying napkins) to gently wipe the gel residue off the TREATMENT SURFACE. After cleaning, it is recommended to store your Numiere Body device in its original box and keep it away from water! Never immerse the device into water.

Troubleshooting

The device does not start:

• Make sure the device is charged, the indicator will be flashing with a red light when the battery is low.

Heat energy is not emitted or felt:

• Heat will not be emitted if the TREATMENT SURFACE is not touching to your skin.
• This is a safety feature.
• Do not attempt to open or repair your body device, only authorized personal is permitted to perform repairs.

Please distinguish your skin types according to the table below before use, it will provide more effective instructions for your choice. The device should be only used by Fitzpatrick Skin Types 1-4, if your Fitzpatrick Skin is Type 5-6, please don’t use the device.

Warnings And Safety

1. Do not use body devices on the head, face (including directly on the eyes and covering the mouth), neck (especially the carotid sinus), groin, upper back, chest area, or crossing over the heart.
2. You should stop using the device and should consult with your physician if you experience adverse reactions from the device.
3. If you are under the care of a physician, consult your physician before using this device.
4. Do not use the device if you have a bodyworn medical device such as an insulin pump or pacemaker
5. Stimulation should not be applied over your neck as this could cause severe muscle spasms resulting in the closure of your airway, difficulty in breathing, or adverse effects on heart rhythm or blood pressure.
6. Application of the body device spherical electrodes across your chest(thorax area) may increase the risk of cardiac fibrillation or other rhythmic disturbances, which could be lethal.
7. Do not use this device when there is a tendency to bleed following acute injury or breaks in bones.
8. Do not apply stimulation over areas of skin that lack normal sensation
9. Apply stimulation only to clean and healthy skin.
10. Stimulation should not be applied over or near cancerous wounds or open wounds such as rashes, swollen, infected, or inflamed areas, or skin eruption, e.g. phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, broken capillaries, etc.
11. Do not apply stimulation while sleeping, bathing, or showering.
12. Do not apply stimulation while driving, operating machinery, or during any activity in which uncontrollable muscle twitching may put the user or the public at unnecessary risk of injury.
13. If the device begins to overheat, turn the device off immediately.
14. Keep this device out of the reach of children
15. Keep all electrical appliances (including the body device) away from water (including baths, showers, and sinks).
16. Never operate the device if it is not functioning properly, or not operating properly due to damage caused by dropping or accidental submersion in water.
