Table Twine Authentic Birria Tacos Recipe

Instructions

STEP 1 Transfer beef to microwave dish. Pour 8oz of water over beef.
Microwave for 2 minutes or until warm, creating a consume. -
STEP 2 Remove bowl from microwave. Pour liquid into a shallow dish, leaving the beef in the bowl.
Heat a saute pan over medium heat. Coat pan evenly with pan spray. -
STEP 3 Using your hands (you can also use tongs but hands are recommended so tortilla does not tear) dip both sides of one tortilla in the shallow bowl of consume. Allow excess consume to drip off the tortilla.

STEP 4 Place tortilla into saute pan. Using tongs, or your utensil of choice, place birria beef on half of the tortilla. Be sure to make the beef last for all tacos

STEP 5 Sprinkle beef with cheese, onions, and cilantro (OR serve onions and cilantro over consume later). Sear tortilla for about 2 minutes. Fold the beef side of tortilla over, in half, to create a taco. Sear on both sides for about 1 minute. Repeat above steps for second tortilla.

STEP 6 Once you have prepared both tortillas, serve alongside remaining consume topped with onions & cilantro for dipping. Serve with guacamole and tortilla chips.
