Product Usage Instructions
Interface & Status LEDs
The AERL LiFe2 features LEDs on the front panel that indicate battery state, including status, error, and state of charge (SOC).
Error Status LED
- An error has occurred: Constantly lit
- No active errors: LED off
SOC Indicator LED
- 75-100% SOC: Constantly lit
- 50-75% SOC: Constantly lit at a frequency of 1 Hz
- 25-50% SOC: Constantly lit at a frequency of 0.5 Hz
- 0-25% SOC: Constantly lit at a frequency of 0.25 Hz
Additional LED Information
- If SOC is less than 10%, the first LED will flash quickly.
- If SOC is less than 5%, the first LED will flash at a slower rate.
- During charging, the last LED will flash slowly.
Minimum Clearance Requirements
Ensure a minimum clearance of 650mm in front of the cabinet and specific distances for front door access.
Connecting the Power Cables & Deploying the Supporting Feet
Use the provided feet to support the cabinet and insert batteries ensuring wheels are higher than feet.
Inserting and Fastening the Modules
Insert the modules into the cabinet securely.
Connecting the Comms & the Protective Earth
Connect the comms cable to the inverter and ensure proper termination plug placement for battery modules.
Connecting Parallel Cabinets
Connect parallel cabinets via designated ports and ensure proper termination plug insertion.
Connecting to the Inverter
Connect DC power cables, comms cable, and follow specific pin-out details for proper connection to the inverter.
Starting up or Shutting down the Battery System
- To start the system, turn on the DC breakers between battery cabinets and the inverter.
- To shut down the system, follow reverse procedure by turning off DC breakers.
