What should I do If you could not access some website or could not open

some app?

Remote control function is supported in the app, however you need to register a account and bind the cloud services.

What should I do if I could not get internet via wavlink device?

Such problem might be caused by many reasons, and they are shown as below:

  1. The user choose the wrong wan type in the router setting.
  2. There might be some problem with the modem.
  3. There might be some problem with the Ethernet cable which connect the wavlink device and the modem.
  4. The modem might block the wavlink device with mac filter.
    And the user could try the steps below for troubleshooting.

Please try the steps below for troubleshooting.

  1. Please connect the modem to the pc via the same Ethernet cable and check if you could get internet. (To rule out the problem of the modem and the Ethernet cable)
  2. Try to change the wan type—DHCP, static ip or pppoe. If you are not sure, please contact us or the isp.
  3. If you could get internet via your old router or you could get internet when you connect the modem to your pc via Ethernet cable directly, please try to use the mac clone function to clone the mac address of the router or pc.

What should I do if the wifi coverage is not as expected?

  1. Try to upgrade the firmware from our website. After upgrading, please reset the device by pressing the reset button for 6s. (Firmware upgrading and resetting could solve many unexpected issue)
  2. Please make sure the antennas should be Unfolded.
  3. Please avoid obstacle between the wavlink device and the client. (The obstacle might affect the wireless signal much)
