Aqara MLS03 Motion and Light Sensor P2

Product Introduction

Motion and Light Sensor P2 detects body motion and the state of ambient light. It sends notifications to the Aqara Home app or links to other devices based on Thread technology.

Reset Instructions:

• Reset: Press the button for 5 seconds and release it within 3 seconds when the indicator light flashes quickly.
• Factory Reset: Press the button 10 times quickly.

Product Usage Instructions

Quick Setup:

1. Ensure you have a Matter-compatible app and Thread Border Router.
2. Remove the insulating tab to activate the device.
3. If the indicator is not breathing, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the LED blinks to enter pairing mode.
4. Open the app, scan the Matter QR setup code, or enter the numeric setup code to add the device.

Warnings:

1. Avoid using in humid environments or outdoors.
2. Avoid exposure to moisture or liquids.
3. Avoid placing near heat sources.
4. Do not attempt self-repairs; seek authorized personnel.

Caution:

1. Risk of explosion if incorrect battery type is used.
2. Dispose of used batteries properly.
3. Avoid battery ingestion; it can cause severe internal burns.

• If there are any people moving or any change in the ambient light state in the areas under detection, Motion and Light Sensor P2 will send a notice to the Aqara Home app through or link to other devices based on Thread.

A Matter-compatible Thread Border Router is required for use.

Quick Setup

1. Please make sure you have a Matter-compatible app and a Matter-compatible Thread Border Router.

2. Remove the insulating tab. The indicator should start breathing.
   Please note: If the indicator is not breathing, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the LED indicator starts blinking and releasing it. The device will enter the pairing mode.

3. Open the Matter-compatible app and scan the Matter QR  setup code on the manual or package, or enter the Matter numeric setup code printed on the product to add the device to the app.
