Important Installation Instructions

Locate existing filter and remove it by turning it counter-clockwise as shown in the graphic.

Holding new filter in your hands, carefully remove the packaging and sanitary end-cap from the new filter.

Insert the new filter into the refrigerator filter receptade. Rotate the filter clockwise until the arrow on the bottom of the filter is aligned with the arrow on the refrigerator filter head. Ensure filter is fully installed in refrigerator head a full 1/4 tum. This is required to activate the internal valve inside the refrigerator. If the filter is not turned a lull 1/4 turn the valve will not fully open and may cause the water flow to be slow, or even cause the valve to make a chattering noise during use.

Dispense water into glass looking for good water flow. If flow is slow, remove and reinstall filter ensuring that the filter is turned in a full 1/4 turn.
Note: lnttial flow rate may be slower than expected. Full flow rate should be restored within 24-36 hours.
Flush three gallons of water through the filter before use. This condttions the filter and removes any carbon fines and/or air from the filter. It may take up to six minutes to flush this much water through the filter. Note: ? water drips out of dispenser after you have stopped dispensing water tt is most likely due to air still trapped in the filter. Flushing the filter with another gallon or two of water should eliminate the problem.? this does not eliminate the dripping, you may need to remove the filter and fill tt completely up with tap water through the openings in the top of the filter. carefully reinstall the filter keeping as much water in the filter as possible. If this does not eliminate the dripping, please contact Customer Service at 1-855-849-3589.
- Check filter one more fime for any leaks.
- Reset the filter replacement indicator light by holding down the Alarm (or Energy Saver) button for 3 seconds or refer to your refrigerator owners manual.
- Replace your filter every six months for best results.

For cold water applications only. Do not use with water that is
microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection
before or after the system. Protect from freezing. REPLACE ALTER EVERY 6
MONTHS, OR IF BAD TASTE OR ODOR OCCUR. The risk associate<j with small parts
can cause choking if swallowed. Keep children away from small parts during the
replacemen1 of the water filter.
