How to use MSI Monitor in 5K resolution on a Mac (OSX)

MSI PS341WU – How to get the 5k@60Hz by Apple MacBook Pro.
Step 1 :
Check macOS is working at the latest version, now is “macOS Catalina 10.15.1”.
Step 2:
Connect “USB Type C to USB Type C cable” or “USB Type C to DisplayPort cable” between MacBook Pro and PS341WU.
Step 3 :
Press and hold the “Option” key at the MacBook Pro keyboard (Fig.1), and then click “Scaled” item In the System Preferences \ Displays of PS341WU (Fig.2) , the resolution 5120×2160 will appear, and then select the refresh rate to 30Hz, 50Hz or 60Hz.

- MacBook Pro 13” IGD video output follows DP1.2 protocol, so, the limitation is 4K@60Hz.
** MacBook Pro 15” supports 5k@60Hz starting with 2018 edition.
