IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed.
THIS OUTDOOR SMART PLUG IS A “GROUNDED” DEVICE The male plug contains a ground
pin and is only intended for use with a three-pronged grounded outlet.
DO NOT ATTACH A DEVICE THAT EXCEEDS THE UNIT RATINGS
TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
If you are having difficulty connecting:
- Make sure the Wi-Fi network is a 2.4 GHz network and Bluetooth. Outdoor Smart Plug will not connect to a 5 GHz network Test your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth network with other devices such as your phone to make sure it is operating properly. The Wi-Fi and BlueTooth connection may not have good coverage dung set up. Try moving the Outdoor Smart Plug closer to your Wi-Fi router and Bluetooth.
- Your Wi-Fi and BlueTooth network password is case-sensitive, make sure you are entering it correctly.
Devices plugged into your Outdoor Smart Plug must be ON in order to be
controlled via the mobile app. Please also check the App User Guide for more
information

Getting Started

Download the Feit Electric app on your smart device

Plug in your Outdoor Smart Plug
Plug the Smart Plug into an outdoor-rated GFCI receptacle with an appropriate outdoor cover.
WARNING: These products may represent possible shock or fire hazards if improperly installed or attached in any way. Products should be installed in accordance with the owner’s manual, current electrical codes, and/or the current National Electric Code (NEC). The indicator light must be rapidly blinking to connect. f not already blinking. press and hold the power button for five seconds. -
Launch and use the Feit Electric app to complete the set up
Tap Add Device or the + sign, then select Outdoor Plug and confirm. You will be prompted to enter your Wi-Fi network and password. Or you can be prompted to
enter your Bluetooth.
Be sure to connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network that covers your installation location. Or be sure to connect to a 2.4GHz BLE. -
Plug your device into the Outdoor Smart Plug
Ensure your device is switched to the ON position and plug it into the Outdoor Smart Plug. -
FINISHING INSTALLATION
Once you’re up and running, secure the Outdoor Smart Plug to the wall by inserting a screw (not included) through the strain relief tab. Make sure to tightly cap the Outdoor Smart Plugs when not in use.
