CONNECTING TO ALEXA
- Launch the Alexa App then tap on the “Menu”.(In the upper left corner)
- Tap “Skills & Games”.
- In the search menu type “Feit Electric”.
- Tap “Feit Electric”.
- Tap “Enable”.
- Enter the user & password from the Feit Electric App. Then tap “Link Now”.
- Tap “Authorize”.
- Tap “Done” in the upper left corner.
- Tap “Discover Devices”.
- Alexa will now discover and add device(s).
- Once the device(s) are discovered they will appear under “Devices” (lower right corner).

CONNECTING TO GOOGLE HOME
- Open the “Google Assistant” App.
- In the upper right corner tap the “Circle” icon.
- Tap “Assistant”
- Tap “Home Control”
- To add a device tap on the Circle (+) located in the lower right corner.
- Scroll down and tap “Feit Electric”.
- Enter the user & password from the Feit Electric App then tap “Link Now”.
- Tap “Authorize”.
- Once device(s) are connected tap “Done” to return to Devices or tap the “Pen” icon to assign a room.

FAQs
Does the bulb have themes that you can set from the app? Like xmas colors? Halloween colors? 4th of July?****
It doesn’t have Pre-Set holiday themes but I’ve used google home “Routines” to change the colors and brightness of the bulbs during certain hours. For example: My porch light come in a sunset and turn off at sunrise with the feit app smart screen automation.
Does this work with Wink hub 1?****
Sorry, no, this product does not work with Wink hub 1.
how many bulbs can the app control?****
It is recommended to use less than 30 bulbs/devices, but this number may vary depending on the router and internet speed.
How do I know if I need 6 or 4 inch?****
Measure what your usong now.
Cannot connect to setup. Light doesn’t blink. Followed on off on off on. How to reset and connect?****

Is the diameter of the 4″ and 5″ recessed light the same?****
The 5″ unit (7.5″ diameter) has a larger diameter than the 4″ (5″ diameter).
Can this be mounted to an existing junction box or does it require a can?****
Smart Retrofit Kit Model # LEDR6/RGBW/AG is designed to be installed in recessed cans, not junction boxes.
So if I order 4 bulbs for my living room, can I control all 4 bulbs with one command with Alexa?****
If you purchase 4 bulbs and want to control them as one. You will have to group the bulbs first.
if the power goes out, will I have to reset the groups &/or colors?****
If the power goes out, you may have to do some resetting or not, just depends what you have going. If you have schedules or scenes, normally turning the lamps on/off via the app is all it takes to get them back in synch to follow the schedule or scene set prior to the power outage.
Can these be used outside?****
These can be used outside, only if they are within range of your WiFi router’s signal. If they are outside of the signal, they will not be able to respond to commands such as on/off, or follow schedules and or other functions. These must also be shielded/protected from the elements; these are not weatherproof so too much moisture will ruin the bulb.
Can I link 14 bulbs together?****
Yes, you can link 14 bulbs together as a group or control each one individually.
Do these bulbs get hot overtime?****
No. They get warm to the touch like any LED bulb, but not hot. Still, I’d be careful about ventilation requirements and check the manufacturer’s recommendations. You don’t want to overheat the electronics.
Does the bulb connect to a cloud outside the local network?****
You can control this bulb from anywhere with your smart phone.
If these are turned off at the wall switch and turned back on will they remember the last setting or will they reset?****
The smart bulbs are meant to be left on at all times, if the switch is turned off or the power go out depending on the occurrence they might not go back online and needs to be reset.
Can this work using just your phone without connecting to Alexa or Google?****
You do not need to use Google or Alexa to operate this bulb. You just need to download the Feit app and you can control it from there. The only thing you lose is the ability to use voice commands.
