Carefully unpack the MODEL M1 Wireless Streaming Amplifier and ensure the following items are included:

Connect the power cord to the MODEL M1.

Step 4: Control

Download the HEOS app from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Amazon App Store.
Launch the HEOS app and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device.

Step 5: Add Device

Optional: Bluetooth

Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the back of the MODEL M1 for 3 seconds until you see two green flashes on the LED.
Select “Marantz MODEL M1” from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your mobile device.

Download the HEOS app.
Go to the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Amazon App Store and search for “HEOS” to download and install.
Launch the HEOS app and follow the instructions in the app.

OPTIONAL: Bluetooth

Activate the Bluetooth setting on your mobile device.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button ( ) located on the back of the MODEL M1 for 3 seconds and release the button when you see a pattern of two green flashes on the status LED.
Select “Marantz MODEL M1” from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
